  1. Best thing about this was his check jacket in the 'college years' section. Otherwise mediocre.
  2. Blue and White. Raised numbers under the label. Dropped the price on both copies as I've checked around and they were a wee bit on the steep side...
  3. Hopefully they are all good prices Mark... Cheers.

  5. Only 18 for me...
  6. Simple to me, "Offers" is just that. Someone makes an offer and the seller decides whether to take it or not. The seller can chose to sell it to another buyer for less if they feel that way inclined. There's no contract verbal or otherwise until the seller accepts the offer by return, then they should honour that sale even if someone weighs in later with a higher offer.
  7. Rubbing spit into a record with your thumb until it gets warm will result in two things: 1, a record that smells of spit. 2, a blister on the end of your thumb. Capitol advice.
  8. Why? Because a bunch of 9th rate Punks played there? You can keep it, Chum.....................p.
  9. To be fair Pete, the one at £90 might be mint, and it was reaching those prices a couple of years back (Johhny Ovenchips books it at £100). So it's probably more a case of someone quoting "book price" minus a bit in the hope it will sell, rather than someone plucking a ridiculous value out of thin air. Personally, i'd say £50 for a minter and lesser copies scaled down accordingly.
  10. Cheers, Exactly as i thought. ebay here it comes...
  11. Hard, hard record to find. I've been looking for one for six years and haven't had a sniff.
  12. What's the crack with this? Frankie Valii - The Night - Tamla Motown (NOT Mowest) MW 3024 80s reissue?
  13. 3M used to make an artists cleaning fluid called Scotch Clean Art that could be safely used on vinyl and labels (if used gently - ie dabbed not rubbed). Printers used to use it on transarencies, to clean off any grease or adhesive prior to running them through the print process... A search of the web may bring someone up that still stocks it.
  14. Couple of mental covers on this LP - Notably 25 Miles and Spencer Davis' "I'm A Man" Original by Willie Cobbs is much earlier than this - around the late 50s/early 60s. Although it's more likely that they reworked Tommy Rayes version of the track.
  15. Hot Boxer!

  23. Careful now - we'll have non of that common sense record pricing round here - this is a local site for local people...
  24. The UK4M in the matrix # was used by RCA on Custom Pressings from 1967, so at a guess it's a National release of the 45.
