  1. There's no such thing as bad publicity.
  2. All well and good this thread, but am i the only one who thinks it's an open invite for burglar bill to pop round?
  3. Swimming in Boots? A sure-fire way of drowning if yer arsk me.
  4. got a Webs - Give In.. I'll get back to you with condition and price tomorrow...
  5. When I was in Philly last Sept, Lee Garrett sung "I Can't Break The Habit' to me and my mucker in the flesh... He's a Rum old feller.
  6. Doni Burdick - Candle.
  7. might have a spare in the sales box, if i have it will be no more than a tenner.
  8. Defiately on Blue Jay.
  9. Not aware of a boot, but it's possible it's been done as part of the recent spate of R&B boots...
  10. Recently noticed a couple of lists with this at well over £150, in fact there's one today... DON'T YOU WORRY BABY (THE BEST IS YET TO COME) - BESSIE BANKS (QUALITY W/DJ) £180 Always thought this was a thirty quidder? Any reason for the hike, or are these well over the top prices?
  11. Sold a couple of issues over the last 12 months... VG+ £20 and EX £30. I reckon £40 would be around the right price for a clean WD.
  12. Here's the original release: ROSCOE SHELTON - Strain on your heart - Charly 1151 https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ROSCOE-SHELTON-Strain-Your-Heart-soul-vinyl-/270348252149?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item3ef202f3f5
  13. Sorted for this thanks.
  14. US issue - fcuking hard. French EP - quite hard. US LP - quite easy, but worth every penny.
  15. This was a popular sound in the Mod clubs 10+ years ago when you could pick any number of copies up for a fiver a pop. No way is this a $200 record, except in the universe of Sebastians buyers (that's no dig at Seb btw). I've had a much better condition one than the one in the eBay ad in my sales box for £25 for over a year now - so they are there if you look for them.
  16. Phil, It was me who bought your record that has gone to Belfast. It was returned to sender as i couldn't get to the sorting office due to the bad weather conditions, and when i attempted to reorganise delivery (within the alloted timescale) the PO phone system was in meltdown. It was in no way your fault, and you issued a speedy refund as soon as it was requested - I'm pissed off with the Post Office, but as a buyer I couldn't ask for more from you. When (and if )you eventually get the record back I'll still have it off you (so long as i haven't picked another up). It's just a case of not wanting to have to wait months and then be told it's permanently lost and miss out on another in the meantime. Cheers, Joe.
  17. Still looking for very clean copies of these. Thanks to those for taking the time to offer lesser grade copies, but please only offer grades as requested...
  18. Excellent condition WD Wanted, but will accept a flat vinyl copy. Will pay £75 (WD)/£50 (issue) all in. Paypal balance awaiting a new home.
  19. Sam, I've got a minter of the Johnny Cool. PM me how much you want to pay all in and I'll let you know if i want to sell.
  20. Great programme. Shame things like this a few and far between.
  21. Did this have the same tracklisting as the Liquorice Alsorts lp on track - the one with braille on the back cover? That had tracks by the Parliaments, Debonaires etc.
  22. Some great albums there Mark, seems to be a fair mix of UK and US releases. I may have a few spares (Action label etc) that you could be interested in - happy to do trades against decent 45s.
  23. What colour is the label on the album? how thick is the sleeve? Is it a thin 'single ply' or thick multi-ply card with a pasted on slick?
  24. I know it's been reissued, so asked the obvious question - "original or reissue". Not a case of having 'doubts' - more a case of wanting more information.
