There probably is a small influence.
But this has probably been tempered by the fact that credit cards at reasonable rates are getting harder to come by.
Be careful with this one - at least 50% of issues are ropey soundwise - it's got a constant hiss/hum throughout.
The only way to tell is to play it.
Better off going for a US demo, or a French EP.

To me it looks like a mid 60s Chicago press - the label font looks spot on.
