  2. aka Allan Badwill Grades in the dark, stood across the room with his fingers in his eyes.
  3. John George in Johnstown gives him a run for his money.
  4. Remix is probably instructions for the engineer - they weren't happy with the sound, so require a remix.
  5. There probably is a small influence. But this has probably been tempered by the fact that credit cards at reasonable rates are getting harder to come by.
  6. About £15 on a good day.
  7. I rarely go on Manships site, so welcome the information all in one place.
  8. Be careful with this one - at least 50% of issues are ropey soundwise - it's got a constant hiss/hum throughout. The only way to tell is to play it. Better off going for a US demo, or a French EP.
  9. I sold one on eBay a few years back and it raised £20. If it was in a sales box at a venue i wouldn't expect to see more than a fiver placed on it.
  10. Depends on the pictures Keith. If they have the artist on you can get decent money. If they are 'art' sleeves, then no more than a fiver apiece.
  11. what did the ebay copy finish at? (just working out whether it's worth selling mine... )
  12. Nope, that had me wondering as well.
  13. Good luck with your new venture Andy. Not been in a shop in Sheffield since you moved to your last shop, so I'll have to pop my head in one weekend.
  14. There are loads of American 33rpm singles out there... They were made for Jukebox use. I've got some by Bobby Bland, Sam Cooke, Erma Franklin, Barbara Dane, Ray Charles etc.
  15. https://shop.ebay.co.uk/tiki_terror/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1 More to update, around 100 up so far.
  16. I've got a white demo for £25 all in if anyone wants it.
  17. Where are you?
  18. I also have a M- demo available. PM me how much you want to pay all in.
  19. pm'd ya.
  20. I want to say £7, if not that it was no more than £10
  21. No doubt I'll see John Anderson at Allentown, so I'll ask him about this. He's quite open about what he had pressed by record companies bitd. To me it looks like a mid 60s Chicago press - the label font looks spot on.
  22. https://shop.ebay.co.uk/tiki_terror/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1 Only a couple of hours left on these. Realistic starting prices.
  23. Why do people keep quoting the Carstairs as being a 'Funk' record? Never has and never will be Funk.
  24. Reasonable opening prices. Good Luck. https://shop.ebay.co.uk/tiki_terror/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1 Plenty of 70s, Northern and Deep as well as 50s/60s R&B
