  1. There's probably loads, but one of the most obvious is Troy Dodds on El Camino. Never seen anything else on the label.
  2. I've been offered, and turned down £300, by two different people. I have the red Tamboo label variant - there is also a blue label one but i think it's the same cut, just pressed at a different plant.
  3. Got a mint 7" here... Not sure on current price so if anyone knows going rate they can PM me.
  4. This years look is Crown Green Bowler - just ask Brett Franklin for the lowdown.
  5. wonder what a WD would fetch then? I'd have rated the issue at no more than £50, but then again, what do I know.
  6. Colour sleeve is the first pressing, black and white sleeve is the second. value wise £40 for colour / £20 for black and white. (info taken from the 2012 Record Collector Price Guide) Although to be honest i reckon you'd be doing well to get £20/£15.
  7. Every copy I've seen is on this black label - albeit a number that's in single figures Details from the official a-side as follows... "Monday Is Too Late" (Harris - Payne) Produced by Kent Harris. Five Point Music / BMI Arranged by Jerry Long
  8. Whoever paid over a ton for Stomach Ache want's their bumps feeling.
  9. funnily enough, Lou Pride almost made my posting.
  10. Thanks to John for clearing his posting up, and his apology whether warranted or not. Why did i throw a minor eppy? For the last twenty+ years I've collected records, often with many of the old school collectors looking down on me because I never went to Wigan or even Stafford. In the past I've had sales boxes closed on me because the seller thought I was too young or 'clueless' all because I wasn't 'there' at the time. So phrases like "proper" and "time-served" used in respect to someone just because they've been on the Planet a few years more get right on my Goat. Apologies to John for any offence I may have caused him, but not for my annoyance at what appeared to be more of the same old.... I'd still rather have the Constellation issue and the Thai Pro and Crack Cocaine bender though, but maybe that's because I'm too young and clueless to appreciate the utter c"kstiffening magnificence and cum-worthyness of the Bunky issue...
  11. John, Since I'm not a "proper" time-served collector who was in nappies during that "pioneering era", please feel free to remove me from your e-mail shots/auction database. I find your tone completely patronising and as such I'll no longer be patronising your site again. Congratulations you've joined Henry Atkinson on the never to be dealt with again list. Cheers, Joe Dutton
  12. Falcons - good good feeling. It's got it all.
  13. you might want to rephrase that...
  14. Reading you gush over it makes me think it's you that needs to go on the bender....
  15. Boring label tho, innit? I'd rather have a Constellation one and spend the rest of the cash on a Thai Pro and Crack Cocaine Bender.
  16. Right, First off, I'm not sure what you consider to be double standards - by not posting comments on a thread? Must I comment on every thread posted and ensure that all of my responses tally, just so that I'm allowed to pass comment on your original posting? Secondly. you've now added to the story, pointing out the fact that you weren't happy with his response to a question about a possible additional sale outside of eBay - maybe if you'd put that info in your original post it would have been clearer as to why you were miffed with him... Now you appear to have backtracked a little by saying he has offered a refund - albeit partial since your post costs aren't covered - and then you state that it's "not all bad". In the word's of the San Franciscan Tourettes..... Make Up Your Fcuking Mind.
  17. If you've got a problem with an eBay seller, why not take it through their resolution centre? TBH, this smacks of using Soul Source as a place to 'Grind your axe' without allowing the seller the opportunity to respond to your complaint via ebay first.
  18. A single line might help the purchaser - something along the lines of "There's one here but the seller is way over the top on price" Posting without comment could be seen as validating the sellers price - causing a buyer to make an unwise purchase.
  19. That's about 3 times the amount you'd want to pay for one.
  20. The Disposable Nappy wrapper has to be the worst I've heard of. Worst i've received was a 9" Pizza Box, with cheese crusted inside.
  21. The Jack Hammer seems cheap to me.
  22. The URL contained a malformed video ID.
  23. Why would they press more than 300? 300 was probably the minimum run for a 45 , and I doubt that there were that many members of TMAS at the time.
