    I'm pretty sure that I've seen a WD on Volt (not the Lightning design - the other one) when on a buying trip in the US.. Although to be honest I can't prove this.

    Had 'Barbershop' on Sky last night (can't say I was watching it, it was just background noise) and one of the shops in the same row as said barbershop was an old record shop. What caught my interest was the Soul / Motown / Funk / Reggae signwritten on it's exterior.

    There's also a French picture sleeve 45 from the 60s, if I remember correctly it's on Stateside. As rare as hens teeth.

    Used to get loads of clothes from Harringtons... Harrington Jackets (natch), Sta Pressed in numerous colours and Smart 'R's jeans. Sexy Rexy well before my time though.

    Exactly the point I was trying to make Mace. Thanks for the confirmation about my way of thinking - I was beginning to wonder if I'd suffered a minor stroke and was talking twaddle because of it.

    I'll tell you what, if you give me 50 free listings I'll list 50 records for less than a fiver each starting bid. I'll start £10 records at £3 - £15 records at £4 - £20+ records at £5. That way you might get a bit of interest - I'm willing to put up as it were.

    Fair enough - sellers may be reticent about listing items when there are no bidders on board, but listing things at current set sale prices as the opening bid isn't gonna win you any bidders either. eg The Fuzz - i'm so glad - opening bid £10. I set sale it at £8, and would start it at £3 on ebay. How can you compete with eBay if you aren't willing to compete?

    Can you make it like a real auction - with all starting bids at £1 (or maybe £5). The problem with it last time was people starting auctions with unrealistic opening bids. The real idea of an auction is that it reaches it's natural price not the sellers perceived price.

    Good God Keith, your mate needs a firm shake if he's asking 100 for it. I've got one that I'm not bothered about selling but if the seller wants to offer me somewhere reasonable between £10 and £100 i think i probably would.

    Thanks for the replies... So that means the one I have here is the one Mark W's friend bought off Richard Domar, which, after appearing in the eBay auction that Mick witnessed, somehow ended up in the mixed lot in Texas? Always enjoy following the journey of a record - esp when there is a bit of a tale behind it.

    True, the boots are excellent copies - but the real deal have the Nashville matrix stamped iin the deadwax.
