  1. My eyes must be painted on.... My U.S. Brooks and Jerry isn't a demo - it's an issue. But it's different to the one above - mine has twin lines going across where the one above has single ones... It's a Styrene copy with the raised X in the run-out.

  7. yes. Starville is the local label issue prior to checker.
  8. Going to have to look for mine now, because i think it doesn't have lines either.
  9. US copy is extremely hard to find - I've only ever seen my own, and the one Pete listed, which is strange when you consider how common the UK copy is. Never seen a US issue - What a dick - mine is an issue - I must have been thinking of something else on the label...

I like the line under "About TARTAN-FROG" "Our company is dedicated to providing you with the best quality, lowest cost products on eBay. "
  11. Surely, if this was indeed 'Store' stock then there would be some issues in his listings rather than the mint demos (of all genres) that he appears to be selling?
  12. He's had some good quality Northern Oldies up over the last couple of weeks, not really noticed any duplicates though - and mainly demos - reckon he may have access to a library/radio station stock.
  13. He's been as honest as eBay will let him - if you put bootleg in your ad, they will remove it - hence "2nd issues" etc...
  14. Came out twice : Jukebox EP - 4 Tracks Jukebox Single - 2 tracks (as part of a pack of 5 - basicly the LP on 7" discs) Both play at 33rpm.
  15. fvck me bandy. Thats fvcking rediculous.
  16. How about one of these? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3M-Scotch-Sticker-Marker-Remover-Pen-/260861900722?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cbc94b7b2 Should be able to get one from your local art supplies shop.
  17. Scotch 3M used to make a fluid similar to lighter fuel but better for the task - it was designed for Graphic Artists to use on Acetate sheets for removing ink and adhesive residue without damage - it was called something like Clean Art.
  18. Or maybe they had a spare 78 blank kicking around?
  19. That's a very strong emotion for something inanimate.
  20. Probably The Voices of East Harlem....
  21. Only if you know that they've been reissued today - I wasn't aware they had been, so presumably plenty of others don't know as well.
  22. If it's got a Monarch master number in the run off between roughly 37400 and 42000 it would indicate a 1961 release date.

Northern Soul Reenactors. Go hand in hand with baggy pants and the like.
  24. Any chance you can put re-issues somewhere in the title?
