Is the UK press of the Etta James 'Tell Mama' LP really rare, or is JM putting his own eloquent 'spin' on his write up? I would have rated it as a solid £25 LP.

Harold Burrage helped Tyrone no end, not least in writing his early tracks.

Definately returned to sender - I've refused to collect an item before as it was incorrectly priced on the customs declaration form. If customs were to keep any item beyond the stated time for payment of charges it could be classed as theft.

Presuming it's the same group, Inky Dinky Wang Dang Doo gives it a run for it's money. -
All the ones I've seen are vinyl (as are the other releases on the label) - I think they are usually knackered because they were played to death.

Yep, I would have said £40 - £50 absolute Tops.

Popsyke is a great tool, however you have to look at each individual auction to check condition - 20 worn copies going through at $30 each can skew the average price greatly.
-
Rarer version of the local label issue (blue) and in pretty good nick - they are usually on the green label and totally clattered.... Doesn't seem that OTT to me.
-
My eyes must be painted on.... My U.S. Brooks and Jerry isn't a demo - it's an issue. But it's different to the one above - mine has twin lines going across where the one above has single ones... It's a Styrene copy with the raised X in the run-out.
-
UK issue of the track on Dade - used to be pretty common.
