  1. Not come across the book yet.... as soon as I find it I'll pass on the info. WOOF!
  2. Great, What was the record by Bobby Byrd? WOOF!
  3. Never fails to amaze me how many people slag off R&B, stating it's R&R then place tracks up in their favourites lists, or jump up to dance to it. When is an R&B record not an R&R record? When it's a Northern record of course! WOOF!
  4. Whoo-hoo.... I believe we've got a live one! WOOF!
  5. Never booted? Original is green and white label, although some argue that there is a rarer first issue on a red label. Never seen either a red label or a boot myself (who would have bothered booting a record that was easy to come by at the time?). WOOF!
  6. www.modculture.com Depends on the records really, if their Revival records them you might be better off on one of the Revival sites. WOOF!
  7. Too played out around these parts..... DJs tend to go for her track from the Cleopatra Jones LP "Love Doctor", available on the flip of "Hurts So Good". WOOF!
  8. But with someone who can sing...... WOOF!

  16. I have a couple of tunes that actually need dropping down a peg.... I also have a ballad that when spun at +6 is an awesome mid-tempo track. WOOF!

I can assure you there was no intention to 'copy' any of your flyers..... any likeness is purely coincidental. We wouldn't want anyone to mistake any of our events for 'Hipshaker' ones, so as soon as this run of flyers has finished we'll alter it to avoid any further confusion. To be honest this was rattled together in a hurry, to meet a print deadline, so the flyer is pretty basic. WOOF! (tm)
  18. As a slow track, much prefer Jimmy Ricks 'Oh What A Feeling'.... so much so I played it in the R&B room on Sunday. WOOF!
  19. Used to have an original demo and matching test pressing of Milt Grayson.... Too blummin slow at +6........ WOOF!
  20. Ike Noble? Not I! WOOF!
  21. Bang Em UP!!! Nothing better than hearing a Pinky and Perky Stomper. WOOF!
  22. Wont be the first time..... Usually in a hurry as the husband is running up the stairs...... WOOF!
  23. Maybe he really likes speed? WOOF!
  24. Thoroughly enjoyed myself for a change.... Didn't see any of the acts, but from the bar area the sound was really flat, but that didn't worry me as I was too busy having a good old natter. Drunken phrase of the weekend: "Horse, you are a f*cking disgrace" over the mic after he had drunkenly miscued about the third record in his spot. WOOF!
  25. Noted the pro boot-leging link in your avatar by the way...... WOOF!
