Utter nonsense i'm afraid Billy. There will be loads of these tucked away in UK collectors record rooms - Stateside demo records were all sent out in reasonable numbers..... You've got to remember it's not only people on the Northern Soul scene that collect these records. I know of a collector who has loads of 1960s Soul on UK demos ,that he won't part with, yet he isn't on the Soul scene at all, he's a Reggae/Ska label collector mainly....

Can beat that... I sold a couple of records on eBay, the purchaser paid for them by Paypal, then claimed that he hadn't received them 6 days later (same day I sent them out recorded delivery). Paypal refunded his money, put my account into negative, then sent me messages telling me to pay the correct amount in. They wouldn't accept the evidence I offered (recorded delivery slip) and even refused to credit my account back when the purchaser informed them he had had the records. In the end the purchaser paid me the money again, but I was hit for a second lot of Paypal fees.... Not a happy chappy.

Been doing it for years.... Got stung for one a few months ago. They seem to have purges, obviously monthly or quarterly. Or perhaps they are starting to build up a fund for the Posties at Xmas. My old Post Office waived loads of these charges for me (mind you I did bung them £20 bonus every xmas).

What do you reckon my signed WD copy of Troy Dodds on El Camino is worth? Would say it's a genuine 60s autograph at the time of the release, since it's the other side that is signed, along with several other signatures, presumably his band and one of the writers of the 45.
