  1. Fact that he only has 10 feedback on mainly $5 records would set a few alarm bells ringing with me.
  2. Kim Melvin turns up on eBay fairly regularly - a tenner should get you one.
  3. Keep going....
  4. Doubt it very much - Another thing that makes it 'stink' is the fact that two different fonts were used on the labels in the scans.
  5. obviously a 'divided opinion' record this one... Would rather slam my knackers in the fridge door than listen to this stinker.
  6. There is a rare Yellow label original, but it has the same design label as the orange one. There is also a Canadian issue on a Yellow label, again with the same design as the orig U.S. issue. Any copy with just text is a boot.
  7. Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Gordon Staples. San Remo Strings. And Jr Walker was relatively famous as well
  8. Got a couple in the sales box if anyones interested...
  9. Got a mint copy of 'change of pace' in my sales for £15 (inc p+p) if anyones interested
  10. I think it's classed as a two-stepper i.e. you'll be about as happy as you would if you stepped in dogshit twice when you listen to it.
  11. The guitarist on "Call Me Tomorrow"
  12. Theres only one release on the earlier series of interest... Most of the 3000 series are worthy of having. I've got a couple on the label i'd be willing to part with, as I started collecting it, but then fell out with the idea after getting about half of them. PM me if you're interested.
  13. How much did that cost you? Expensive round our way - but at tleast they use the Cheese-grater with aplomb.
  14. There is a UK issue on 'Horaces' Records which can be picked up for about a tenner....
  15. Not a personal dig, Dayo, but When that record was released you could have bought a house for a few grand. Now you are looking at £200K for the same house. I think it's called inflation. Always makes me laugh when people say "ooh I paid such and such for mine in 19-o-blog" Easy to thing to say, but a bit of a 'pensionerish' thing to do. "When I were a lad you could go out, have 12 pints of Watneys Red Barrell, Fish and chip Supper, shag a pro on the way home and still have change from ten bob" Bootlegs of this are priced at £15, so is £100 for an original way off the mark?
  16. 20 Great Unknown Soul Tracks - on Cascade (part of Ace)
  17. Obviously not been following prices closely recently - styrene demo went for over £200 on Manships auction. He had an issue on his site at £150.... so I put mine out at just over half that price. Whilst I don't like to be accused of charging top wack on stuff, I like to be able to plough any money I get back into records - all of which have increased at the same kind of rate as the stuff i'm selling. Viscious circle at the moment - everyone quotes Manship (and many add on top) when selling, but want to pay peanuts when they are buying - yet prices spiral ever upwards, meaning everything I want is more expensive.
  18. Meaning what Ken?
  19. Might have one of those.... Let me look in the sales box and get back to you.
  20. Thought so - put £90 on my vinyl copy, but will probably drop it down a bit
  21. Looks same as mine, so i'd say yes. Value anyone?
  22. Yep theres a more traditional Northern one on Maison De Soul according to Tim Brown. Rarer as well apparently. Both Mr Manship and Mr Brown rate 'Pusherman' at £50
  23. Got a Frank Minion on its way from the states... I'll let you know condition when it arrives and you can make me an offer.
  24. off until a week on Moday, so expect a few more selections later...
  25. Didn't Jamien Hartford esq. have one for sale? Not a fan of the record, but it does have one of the greatest lines in Northern Soul in it...about drugs being "a monkey on your back, and every day you have to feed that monkey a snack"
