  1. Gil Scott-Herons dad used to play for one of the big Scottish clubs - Celtic I think....
  2. Do they have the equivalent of 'Trading Standards' in the U.S.? If he's a regular seller on eBay, it may be poss to chase him down that route.
  3. Are different ones harder in different areas of the country? Did Dena Barnes sell more copies (percentage wise) in the North West, North East or the Midlands? Did records that were popular at Wigan sell better in the NW, and ones that were popular at Cleethorpes sell better in the NE?
  4. Harder Grapevines are... Larry Clinton Nabay Sam and Kitty Al Williams Tomangoes All the others should be a tenner or less.
  5. New Riders Of The Purple Sage covered 'I Don't Need No Doctor' by Ray Charles (theres also a version by W.A.S.P (shit heavy metal band) if my records are correct). 9. Ahoy Dave, Industrial strength rubbing liniment. It's well past the yard-arm Aharr.
  10. Try looking for a listing for 'The Cleethorpes Story' - think it may be on there... Memories a bit patchy today tho!
  11. Tad naive? There's people on 'this scene' who take Speed just to get out of bed in the morning...
  12. J.J. Barnes released an album in the 70s on Perception.
  13. x 10 Stevie Z predictable to the last.
  14. Rockies, Attercliffe........probably
  15. I thought 'Soap' was Ray Hudson. Bit of a play on 'The only time you will get Jim near Soap'....
  16. Is it because he's got a face like a Bulldog licking piss off a thistle?
  17. This is by far my favourite version of this track - Knocks Steve Aldo into a cocked hat.
  18. Capsoul is the local release, Avco is the national. Great record that's often overlooked because it's 'cheap'
  19. Got one for £20 in my sales box... Also got released on AVCO for about half the price.
  20. Avast, The man has Summer Teeth. Summer Green, Summer Black, Summer Missing. Yarr
  21. Yarr, Read the question agin. Doesn't say who released enough tracks for an LP, just who never got to record one... Aharr.
  22. Jack Montgomery Margie Hendrix solo - did the Raelettes ever get an album?
  23. I can'ee argue with that statement. Vocal sounds sped up but the backing doesn't? Be it Alvin and the Chipmunks? Yarr.
  24. Ahaar. Be this the flip of "If You Can't Be True"? Yarr.
  25. Yarr, There is a record by a whippersnapper by the name of "Little Dion"... Sounds like he's about six. Aharr.
