  2. I don't think Shane was taking the piss - Butch does champion cheap records on occasion. He might have a box full of them at home to sell anyway....
  3. If thisis the one on King then I've got a spare... pm me for details.
  4. Crops up regularly on eBay on the Grapevine label. Should get one for a fiver.
  5. Do You have MGI Photosuite'? - if so you can remove this by going onto touch-up and using the remove blemish filter - run the mouse over all of the picture and it'll shift it.
  6. Recent boots are black and white as stated - unless someone else has knocked one up recently.
  7. Betty Everett - My Love is a good finger snapper Magic Sam - Look Whatcha don is a good mid-tempo blues number, but probably too far into the blues for most on here
  8. It might not be Soul.... but it's definately Northern....
  9. Harold Burrage - She Knocks Me Out - Cobra Has got to be the contender for the best release on the label, although it has some great releases by Betty Everett, Otis Rush and Magic Sam to name a few.
  10. This really is a bag of mid sixties white pop shite. LOL
  11. This is obviously a guide vocal for someone who can sing to follow. Sharon sings as flat as a fart on the first line. And the tune is in the wrong Key for her, which is why she struggles holding some of the notes.
  12. both releases by Chapter Five
  13. Burn 'em at the stake - they be witches - ahaar....
  14. McKinley Mitchell - No Love / The Town I Live In One-derful, Midas, Toddlin' Town and Canadian Barry so far....
  15. Don't want to piss on anyones bonfire, but isn't 1961 a little too late for most Rock n Roll collectors?

  17. Yep, probably because it's an 'answer' record - a long running tradition in the Black music business.
  18. Tere are Canadian issues on the Karate label - same design but multi-coloured instead of the basic blue. To me this suggests that the label was in Detroit but used Canadian pressing plants when the local ones were busy, when they had a 'hit'. The Peels - Time Marches on is on the multi design, and I'm sure I've seen another release on the same label.
  19. Footsee? Tavares - Heaven must be missing an angel? Wasn't this a Torch record?
  20. Middle of the Road - Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep
  21. I'll take this Keith, Paypal OK? or take it through to Burslem...
  22. I could engage you in a battle of wits, but i've decided it would be unfair of me to attack an unarmed man.
