  6. a. Who hasn't? q. Has anybody else got the 'Wilton Flu'?
  7. I'd be in no fit state to buy any records after I'd blown my stack on Cocaine and high class Hookers....
  8. Never Been In Love - c p love - chimneyville 11583 refosoul The kind of tune that could go massive in the hands of Soul Sam...
  9. Tell Me - doris troy - people 11580 refosoul LP only track, taken from her "Stretchin' Out" album....unfortunately the rest of the album is Cack.
  10. Prefer Baby Washingtons version on Cotillion meself loike.
  11. Cover should be thick card with the image on a 'slick' Thick vinyl - not thin flexible. Re-issues often have a thin card cover, thin vinyl and "originally publishe..." with the date in a box.
  12. I've started compiling one for next year. Here are January and Februarys images....
  13. It's on the flip of "push wood" so around the time that was released or just after. Trouble is i haven't a clue with the Jamaican releases - they could have been pressed in the 60s / 70s/ 80s or even last week. There are different issues with it on the flip though - some are blanks some have "Jackie Opel - Nobodys Business" on the label
  14. Also on Jamaican Coxsone - credited as Jackie Opel
  15. A regular 'Brighton beach' play from about ten years ago.... Now I wonder who used to play it?
  16. Is "Let's Try It Over" by Cash McCall?
  17. You're fortunate if you can find one for a tenner - a solid £25 record. Watch out for the demo's - they are double-a siders.
  18. Fred Kibble - Hey Girl, Hey Boy - Copa
  19. Didn't realise we we're going through a Jazz Funk revival. Now where did I put my skin tight jeans, grey leather slip-ons and Whistle? See you soon at the nearest D.I.S.C.O. - I'll be the one with a curly perm, tash and MK3 Ford Escort.
  20. Mint US copy for £15 including recorded delivery....
  21. £15 - should pick one up off ebay for a few dollars
  22. Very confusing... The Itzy label is from Pittsburgh and are still going today, with CDs full of 'Oldies' that were popular in the sixties, that area. I've seen one release on the label (non-soul) that was distributed by Gateway records, and the Soul/Mickey Lee Lane ones do look like soething to come out of Philly (similar to the BB label). This leads me to believe that at least some of the records were official, and issued to cash in on the 'local' hits. Maybe they were a back door 'cash' job for Swan records? Or genuine re-issues to cash in on a very limited market?
  23. For once Winnie I agree with you. Think i need a lie down - i've gone all lightheaded.
