  1. I could have sworn the Tiny Topsy I sold was on King as well.... And I definately didn't get more than £40 for it...
  2. It's "Tiny Topsy" and about £40 at a guess.
  3. Wow... Good luck in the new venue - not a bad space - shame it's a forced move though.
  4. You can't knock the seller - they've made it perfectly clear that it's not an original.
  5. "Northern Soul? Music made by a load of black fellers you've never heard of...." My Father-In-Law circa 1988.
  6. Always thought that Tom Jones would have made a good effort of this one...
  7. Could have been "Think Twice Before You Go"
  8. I think Cherry's great, could watch her for hours...
  9. Wrap it in brown paper. Weigh it. Charge him exact cost plus one dollar for s+h. Bend it over your knee. Send it to him.
  10. Reminds me of Pat Brady and the Bradford Queens Hall... Issue should be about £30ish
  11. What do you get if you cross Beth´s hand shake with Hannah´s Cock a Doodle Hoedown? Arrested?
  12. I'd like a Willie McDougal but £150 seems a bit on the steep side....
  13. I've got a theory about why the Argentinians play there 7" records at 33.3rpm.... Many Jukeboxes (Seeburg in particular) played selections at 33.3 (Hence the 'Little LPs'/Motown EPs and U.S Jukebox 33s)... when the record companies realised that they were pressing up records for a small section of the U.S. market they probably decided that they could streamline their operations and only cut 7" at 45rpm - If this was the case there will have been tons of Jukeboxes in the U.S that were now defunkt... I can imagine the tooling and any stock of theses Jukeboxes being passed off onto the nearest 'third world' country by U.S manufacturers. If your an Argentine record company pressing up 33.3 rpms to supply to Bars, Pool Halls and the like, why bother pressing up 45s? Dansettes, Sterograms and Gramaphones all play 33.3rpms so you're not losing any customers by not cutting 45s. Could all be a load of nonsense though...
  14. Sold one for £30 at Sheriadans last year - turns up every so often on eBay...
  15. But do you still own the original 45? Loads of CD~DJs at local do's haven't been within a country mile of half of what they are playing....
  16. Wouldn't have a cut done of an issued 45 to 'play out'... but that's just me.
  17. I use Vinyl Carvers to get copies of actates made to preserve the original (I own them). I also have the odd LP only track cut to prevent me lugging the LP around (Again i own the original Vinyl). I intend to have a few things cut to put in my jukebox - so that they are double a-sided - takes up less of the limited number of tracks available.
  18. Sounds a very reasonable price...

  20. Presumably the soundfile is taken from the Red Boy copy as it sounds the same as mine... Sooooo - do you have a copy of the Sandbag issue so i can hear the faster version?
