  1. Note different type set and layout on these promos. Both are vinyl and Bell Sound stamped.
  2. Is this picture on the cover? Nice trews there Rob.
  3. Two good DJs (and top fellers as well): John Pugh Rob Gray
  4. Do you want an egg to go with that spam?
  5. any more 60s tracks that were big/broke at Clifton Hall.... all seems to be 70s/80s from the soundfiles (bar the odd one)
  6. I'm afraid that reading this was a 'double-shudder' moment. The Horror.
  7. Russell Brown - Well put together sets and an amazing mic technique.....
  8. Here's one to file alongside it... Rarely see U.S. copies of this but have seen loads of UK Beacon on several label colours.
  9. This one seems a bit harder on demo as well.
  10. Sure this one is a touch harder on demo....
  11. Of course I meant Tangerine, but had some kind of minor stroke and typed Minit. Used to have a Tangerine demo, never had an issue though.
  12. and here's a scan...
  13. The Tarpon label belonged to Billy 'The Kid' Emerson, who was also A&R man at Chess records around that period. He also co-wrote the lyrics to Love Reputation.
  14. Was this every demo'd? Was the Tangerine release ever issued? All the Tangerine copies I've seen were promos
  15. My Sam Moultrie is black with all of the print/logo in Silver... 'Nashville' stamped, so which is the first issue?
  16. Split decision for me, hence keeping both...
  17. Two Claude Huey demos - so are the demos or issues of these tracks rarer?
  18. Tavasco Promo.... note extremely small typeset... can't have been that bothered about getting a hit with it LOL
  19. Same song - two different recordings - two demos
  20. Got to be hard on UK demo?
  21. It's me birfday. I can abuse whoever I like, particularly if it's about one of the most tuneless dirges ever comitted to Vinyl. Hopefully all copies are Styrene - that way they are easier to snap over your knee.
  22. It would be worth it just so there was one less copy of the pointless meandering cack that is Mel Britt.
  23. Why not see if forum member Dan Collins is interested - or at least be able to point you in the right direction for someone who may be?
  24. Here's a scan...
  25. Try and get the one one Goldmine Sevens - I think its got Johnnie Taylor(?) "Love On A Leaseplan" on the flip as well...
