The Tarpon label belonged to Billy 'The Kid' Emerson, who was also A&R man at Chess records around that period. He also co-wrote the lyrics to Love Reputation.

My Sam Moultrie is black with all of the print/logo in Silver... 'Nashville' stamped, so which is the first issue?

It's me birfday. I can abuse whoever I like, particularly if it's about one of the most tuneless dirges ever comitted to Vinyl. Hopefully all copies are Styrene - that way they are easier to snap over your knee.

It would be worth it just so there was one less copy of the pointless meandering cack that is Mel Britt.

Why not see if forum member Dan Collins is interested - or at least be able to point you in the right direction for someone who may be?
