I'd recommend getting the UK copy as it has a decent track on the flip - all US copies I've come across are same side demos.

Bought Sheila Ferguson "Are You Satisfied" about 15 years ago... Heard Roger Banks playing "And In Return" at the Beehive (?) in Bradford a few years ago... got home and there it was on the shelves. What a cracking Result.

Yep, B-side is different on this to the French/UK issues, but is also on the LP. Was commenting on the rarity of the private press/1st press rather than the tracks availability on other labels/issues. Anyway, it's tucked in nicely next to my other V.O.E.H releases now.

Rod, I have some french Motown EPS - I'll have a quick look through on my return from Prestatyn. Techniques is on UK Treasure Isle Uniques is on UK Island Heptones is on UK Coxsone Good luck with trying to find any of the three on Mintish copies - Uk Reggae/Ska usually turns up in less than VG condition. -
I'd query your figures on that - I'd be suprised if it sold more than 100,000 copies... Most of which probably ended up over here in the 70s.

In Pittsburgh they were booting records at the time of their release... (cheaper to press your own than buy them in?) Question is - why not boot a high selling 45? - there's obviously a market for it. Didn't Raymona Gordy boot Motown 45s whilst they were selling the originals as well?

'Cloakroom Kenny' had one of these - swears it's original but I reckon it could be a 60s boot from Pittsburgh... it's definately on Vinyl, and not Styrene like all other Ric Tics.

Very few origianl TOTP preformances survived the sixties - they were recorded over as tape was so expensive. The stuff you see on You Tube and TV programmes like "Sounds of the 60's" usually comes from the German show The Beat Club.
