  1. Beware, it melts Styrene. I had a go at cleaning some really poor conditon records with it and it flattened the groove.
  2. Just as I thought - only someone as bent as a nine-bob note could come up with such a "Gay" retort. You persona is obviously the result of an overbearing Mother and an ineffectual Father. p.s. Tourettes is uncontrolable - all of my outbursts are measured
  3. He says it may be a repro - at he appears to have added this to the listing - tell him you set your auction sniper as soon as he listed it and never went back to look at the auction, so didn't see his later comments....
  4. You'll keep... Time for bed. Got a long day wiping down mecca classics with Acetone.

  16. Was watchin the below item on eBay.... https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...A:IT&ih=011 Looks like a lemon to me, but anyone able to confirm whether it's the real deal or not? Questions that spring to mind are - Aren't Motown Acetates usually Typed credits on a plain label? Why split the sides between two different releases on two different labels? Isn't the label a little modern looking in layout/design (more late 60s than early 60s)?

  20. The story I read was that they thought they looked like Hookers plying their trade....
  21. A couple of years ago I was going out to venues and selling records from my own collection and pulling a couple of hundred per night... now if I sell a £30 record I've done well... can't put it down to the quality of the stuff I'm taking out as I sold the lesser quality stuff first - and prices are below "book" on most items... There's also less people actually looking in boxes in the first place...
  22. Bad Form. Why not start your own wants post instead?
  23. Fair play to him if he can make a few beans wheeler-dealin'.....
  24. Original 45 is the Kent 100 Club Anniversary giveaway... Price? John Manships UK guide states £50.
  25. Yes the album is available - preferably for trades... I'm looking for copies of The Chosen Few - Funky Butter, The Hideaways - Hide Out on Red/Yellow and the promotional Action/People 45 that has snippets of releases on the label...
