  1. Wi' such scintillating anecdotes, Aye forsee a successfull stint on t' After Dinner Speeches circuit for ye. Oh Arrr!
  2. Well I spoke to Andy earlier in the week, and as he's already stated on here - No One is barred from Middleton... Personal issues should stay just that.
  3. Was looking on eBay for a cheap HD flat screen TV last night... Clicked on one of the newly listed items that looked particularly cheap and got redirected to a "sign in" to eBay page - funny thing is, I was already signed in... Forwarded the auction on to eBay, and the item is no longer listed. Just a word of warning - with the prices of records it won't be long before one of these barstewards cottons on to putting malicious code into a 'tasty' records listing
  4. I thought all the Chalet Maids and Bar Staff would be working down the Nick-Nack Mines...
  5. What a ball ache. As if it isnt cold enough in March... is the town of Prestatyn open in Feb?
  6. They must have had their eyes and ears painted on.
  7. kenard3 Yo! Willies Records. Read his feedback, got to be one of the worst on eBay... Paid for records and never received them. Ones that did arrive were smoke damaged, overgraded or just the wrong record.
  8. Confusing since the increments change as the item goes up in price.... Surely a min/max £5 bid increment would make more sense?
  9. Went to the Wilton on Friday and didn't notice the difference to be honest... still came home stinking of the "Wilton Fust"
  10. Good comedy writes itself....
  11. Its highly probable that this is the same person who we were told was having some kind of mental breakdown for want off a better phrase, putting ridiculous prices on items the last time round on eBay. I think it was Mark Ellis who said he knew her and to lay off her with all the jokey questions etc, as it was likely to push her o0ver the edge.
  12. If the Pad label version plays the same as the Ripete one, then it is definately an edited version of the 12". The ripete copies came out very late 80s/early 90s when I first started collecting... they were £10 a pop then... I declined to buy one as I preferred the original 7" version.
  13. Doesnt alter the fact that it's a boot tho'
  14. Hasn't it been confirmed that this is a boot from the Beach music scene?
  15. www.soulclub.org/stream/The_Precisions_-_If_This_Is_Love_(I'd_Rather_Be_Lonely).ram The Precisions on Drew? £15 - £20 www.soulclub.org/stream/The_Continental_4_-_The_Way_I_Love_You.ram The Continental Four on Jay Walking? Again £15 - £20
  16. This was "The New Younghearts" and was a genuine later issue with the flip being "Younghearts get lonely too"
  17. Post strike was Friday - unfortunately the P.O. are now playing catch up - had to collect a recorded delivery item this morning where delivery was attempted on Wed of last week, and it had only just arrived back with them yesterday afternoon.
  18. Leave them negative feedback. Then offer to 'mutually' withdraw feedback - unfortunately both of you have to place feedback to do this. You will then lose the neg off your counter.
  19. Arrr, Sistears, sistars, never were there such devoted sistars....
  20. Ruby Stackhouse (Tack on Doris Duke and Friends LP) = Ruby Winters?
  21. Read somewhere that Doris Willingham (on Jay Boy) is Doris Duke.
  22. think £150 is a bit minty, but definately in the £100-£120 bracket.
  23. Don't know if everyones the same as me, but I tend to lose interest with large lists - go goggle eyed, lose my place and then think feck it. Breaking it up into 20 record sections might help sell a few.
