  1. It'll never catch on.....
  2. about £50 innit? not seen one for sale in a while though.
  3. I believe that these are Soul Sams favourites.....
  4. Tried it years ago and it didn't work then because its a Funk record.
  5. More likely that the pressing plant ran off extra copies in case it was a "hit" (to sell via the back of a lorry) than it was booted...
  6. William Bell & Mavis Staples / Just Keep On Loving Me Pretty sure this came out on 45 as well, got one somewhere....
  7. I have a mint copy - send me an offer I can't refuse.....
  8. £20 - £30 depending on who is selling.
  9. The Age copy is about 5 years earlier... He had several releases on the Age label, so there's nowt dodgy about it at all.
  10. Picked one up in America last year for $60 (think it was Dennis T Brennan selling it...)
  11. Wasn't Jumping Jack Flash the A-side? If so seems a bit strange that the Italians picked the B-side to demo on a 45 with ABBA...
  12. paid $88AUS for mine (£33 at the time...)
  13. I think I've got one in the sales boxes... it won't be as much as £30, but it won't be a tenner either... probably somewhere inbetween...
  14. Not a lot in it - £25 at a guess. Nice record.
  15. Also came out on a UK DJM LP - maybe that's where the 45 confusion comes from?
  16. Mines on Aussie 'Wizard' 45. Pretty hard to find, last one I saw for sale was £400. Italian copy comes with a picture sleeve - not quite as hard but still not 'easy'. https://www.capitolsoulclub.homestead.com/A...anListings.html Some info on the 45 about half way down.
  17. Ask him if he's ever considered changing his name to O'Toole?
  18. hundreds unfortunately....
  19. you've got about as much chance of getting a cheap copy of this as I have of winning Great Britains Slimmest Man.
  20. sold it for £25... piss poor i.m.h.o.
  21. Wasn't the discussion about "Nowhere To Run"?
  22. Good, the feckers might stop parking their cars outside my house now.
  23. I bought Al Mason off Mark Res on this site for £60 not more than 6 months before John Manship auctioned the first copy. It was open to offers and I made what I thought was a reasonble pitch - I would have probably gone up a few quid more had Mark asked for it... but don't know where the £400 price tag came from other than bidder frenzy.
  24. It's a twenty quidder...
  25. This is what happens when you start injecting Vim.
