  1. Labels off centre....
  2. Seriously... State in the contract that payment by cheque within 7 working days, otherwise they could do the 'standard' business trick on you and make you wait for upto 60 days.
  3. I usually find that the phrase " If The cheque bounces, I will hunt you down, run you over and reverse repeatedly over your head.." tends to do the trick
  4. "don't wanna face the truth" The Radiants - Twinight
  5. Almost double that now... Definately one of the hardest Action 45s, must have sold diddley squat on release.
  6. That's it gets regular plays in the Back Beat room at Middleton...
  7. Sorry Benji, Only have a VG+ copy - most of these are 'clattered' through mistreatment... Maybe you request for a 'Mint' one has put others off posting?
  8. Might be way off the mark but always thought Bobby and Bettie Lou on Old Town was them.
  9. Also came out on a U.S. Jukebox 6 track 33.3rpm EP
  10. pretty sure there were some plain blue label boots as well....
  11. yep.
  12. Also came out on a French EP. As you can probably guess, i'm a closet Jones fan.
  13. Side a: Good Night Irene Side b: Need Your Lovin (Want You Back)
  14. It's the one without the gaps filled in with drums/hi hat/cymbals/paper and comb/kazoo/didgeridoo that gets played the most.... The one with 'Cottage For Sale' on the flip.
  15. Ta for that, but.... Looking for records that came out as "ISSUES" with COLOURED VINYL (not demos).
  16. Got this up for sale on eBay at the minute, and thought I'd better post a picture of it for prosperity.... I've seen quite a few WD with Red vinyl before but would like to know how many records were issued by Motown on coloured vinyl?
  17. Doesn't explain the numbering system... unless they were two seperate "labels" Don't know why I'm arguing the toss over what order they were pressed in - they are shite and deserve throwing on the bonfire.
  18. From Manships UK price Guide: Dubious UK based early 70s reissue label with a somewhat erratic numbering system...(snip)... Numbers 5 to 32 were made from vinyl and had green or sometimes blue labels. From duplicate #32 Jerry Cook, the labels were white and the Out Of The Past was replaced by OOTP..... (snip).... You can send my 10p piece taped to the back of a £50.
  19. The white label ones were the later ones.... Sound quality on most of these were shite. I honestly though Mel Williams was singing Cannabis Tree on the OOTP pressing...
  20. Aharr Thar bee three Modern Soul stories methinks.. Yarr.
  21. Feb/March 1966....
  22. find out in a minute...
  23. If you want an original, theres a demo on eBay at the moment - seller details pikeys_dog It is the same tune as Zu Zu Man, but given a different treatment - Zu Zu is the original though as it was co-written by Rebbenack... aka Doctor John, aka the Zu Zu Blues Band....
  24. Dr Love also came out on a french EP
