  1. Just call me Quick Draw McGraw.
  2. never mind ken, it went to a good home...
  3. Nice quote of the Rolling Stones in the title Pete....
  4. terry callier - I don't wanna see myself staples singers - trippin on your love
  5. last one of these on eBay sold for over a ton if I remember correctly... so it's not that someones mistaken it for £3K copy, there is a demand there for this faster issue.
  6. I often relist records with the same scan if I've got multiple copies that are all in the same condition... saves time and effort... so long as the record is equal to the one shown can't see a problem with it...
  7. Picked one up on here for £6 - this week... According to most sources this can be classed as an original, as it's a different take of the track.
  8. Twas indeed. One of my first regular niters, along with Bradford.
  9. Possibly recorded in Mono, and played on a stereo stylus? That could create background noise if the needle isnt hitting the groove right?
  10. 'bout £20 and I may well have a spare in the sales boxes...
  11. I went to the Wheel - admittedly in the late 1980s early 1990s when they held the Banshee allnighters there... some strange sights in the queues for that one...
  12. I very nearly bought one of these recently 'found' issues... but smelt a bit fishy so ended up giving it the heave-ho... I counted quite a few through eBay and on sales lists, so was £100 too much for a record that had dubiously (or otherwise) turned up in quantity.
  13. doesn't the pie filling fall through the hole in the middle?
  14. Real world price- a tenner tops for an issue, a touch more for a demo....
  15. Their was a similar sentiment behind the majority of Ian Latrines productions.... and look how they turned out...
  16. The backings alright, if a little out of step with what's played these days......
  17. Reminds me of Prestatyn when the person who runs Soul In The Sun was DJing on the radio and asked for requests to be texted in to him... "Can you f*ck of back to Tenerife and take your shite records with you" was at least one of the responses.
  18. why not start a poll? Should Pete refund? Yes or No?
  19. Surely reason enough for me to break out my Keelhauling ropes?
  20. I don't think this covers second hand items. Its a case of Caveat Emptor - and Pete has provided a soundfile to back up his grading. As already stated on several responses, Petes grading is often under and I've yet to see another person state that he's overgraded a 45.
  21. covers 33 are cheap but flimsy in my experience... Swanflight is the only way to go I.M.O.
  22. To give the impression that they were an established company... that way record pluggers, jocks and distributors might push them above 'new' companies?
  23. Of course if you are willing to accept clattered records then you might get one cheap - i presumed you'd want one that played though....
  24. no such thing as cheap on this album.... Highly collectable in the states so you can't sneak them over for a few dollars anymore.
  25. If it's priced accordingly and she's had a sound file, i can't see her problem... heard a lot worse sound quality-wise played out at venues.
