  1. strange bown stuff found in her stomache? Heart attack? I reckon she had explosive constipation and she was trying to shift it with a healthy helping of All Bran
  2. Yes, I suffer from a very extreme case of mild autism (aka masculinity). Gathering little bits of black plastic is much more socially acceptable than shouting '36!' when someone drops the contents of their matchbox on the deck.
  3. I have a copy in my sales... I'll dig it out and let you know. It won't be Manships price tho'
  4. I collect because it's a relatively harmless outlet for my compulsive side. Otherwise I'd probably end up taking a hunting rifle down to Meadowhall and taking pot shots at Happy Shoppers.

Most expensive one at over £120. Popsike is great but is only any use if you check all different spellings and title variations.
  9. Last copy i had sold for around £70.
  10. Clout? Looks like he's wearing one on his head...
  11. do you reckon it was a vanity label, by any chance?
  12. The backtrack LPs were 'budget' releases around the same time Polydor, Trojan etc were knocking out their 99p releases... so it's more likely for the Allsorts ones to have come first.
  13. He does say on one of the other coasters that "No playable records were harmed"
  14. Nice clean copy - couple of scuffs not affecting play - very minor ringwear to label - Strong VG++/EX. £25 including postage. Paypal only (no charge) Ta.
  15. there are quite a few playboxes that should be utilised in this way....
  16. sold the last one i had for £15... approx 18 months ago
  17. You can't blame the seller - he started it off low, so it's all down to some seriously daft bidding.
  18. The stylus are checked at every Middleton, and have even been replaced with new mid event... the old ones been destroyed so they can't be used again by mistake.
  19. Been snoozing, Rip Van Winkle? Not been a £10 for the last 15 years.... solid £20+
  20. Situation 1. I sold an electric clock on ebay. The winning bidder was in the U.S. He never paid, so i relisted the item and sold it to someone in the UK. He then left me negative feedback saying the clock didn't work. If I couldnt have left negative feedback, this wouldn't have been hi-lighted to people considering buying from me in the future that this was a nutcase who had done this on a couple of occaisions. Situation 2 I sold a record to someone in the U.S. and payment was made quickly. I left immediate positive feedback. The buyer then charged back through Paypal (two days after paying) saying that they hadn't received the record - no suprise there as it was sat on my side ready for posting the next day. If I'd had held off leaving feedback until after the buyer had left it for me, I would have had some way of getting across to other sellers that the buyer was a f*ckwit of the highest order and to seriously consider cancelling any bids they might have on their items. That's why sellers hang on until feedback has been left before they leave it.
  21. There's a Garage tune on both sides. The vocal is so bad it makes me cringe to listen to it.
  22. I'm free on that evening - pm me for details
  23. Reckon the blue labels are the second press.. soon after issue to meet local demand... as all other releases on the label are on the bluey-green label (barring the first which is a green label with the label name in block text). Owned by Billy 'the kid' Emerson, who just happened to have links with the Chess label (A&R apparently). I also reckon that it was a sizeable local hit - leading to the seperate label colours, and a national flop, meaning that the Chess label release is rarer numbers wise, but tends to be in much better condition when you do come across them (The Tarpon copies are regularly battered). Can anyone confirm or denounce my theories?
  24. Have they all got the name of the group stamped on the label? I reckon it's a great tune - even if bits of it sound like something you would have heard on a 70s schools programme.
  25. Never booted as far as i'm aware - had several and have all been flat as a witches titty, so nowt unusual there...
