You could also buy them in HMV, Our Price records and GT News - that's where mine came from. Sheffield City Library had them in their vinyl section as well - if they were 'boots' how the hell did they end up with them?

Ray Williams - Gonna Get Even On Space Records
pikeys dog replied to adamt's topic in Look At Your Box
I've been looking for one for a while to sit next to No Quittin - never had a sniff of one. -
Benny Johnson - Stop Me - Today. Was booted on another label, then hundreds of originals turned up.
-
Fair play to Sebastian, his auctions are the "John Manships" of eBay...

mrtall, Please edit your original post, instead of posting new replies underneath. It doesn't raise the profile of your sales, and can be annoying for users who use the "New Soul Content" button. Thanks.

Got a French EP if you are interested...

Turned up to an R&B allnighter - opened my playbox and it was full of crossover and 70s dancers - picked the wrong box up on my way out.... Fortunately I had a sales box with me, so i managed to wing it.

What is it worth on UK Lord Koos then? -
Probably re-released to cash in on another 45 by them - I'd hazard a guess at 'My Conscience'

John Manship Auction Results 31-7-2013
pikeys dog replied to JOE TORQUAY's topic in Look At Your Box
Real world price on that is less than half what Johns auction achieved. -
Definitely early 90s - around the time of the Travellers in Rotherham, as that's where I bought my copy from, 'hot from the presses'.
-
It was playing up a bit earlier today.

Just raised this topic back up as I'm putting a list of 45s together for sale, and was doing a bit of research on this one - It appears from a date stamped copy on U-Tube that the Malynn issue is from 1970. Maybe Van McCoy productions were 'Hot' so someone decided to give this minor hit a bit of a go? As far as i'm aware the Domino issue is the National issue. Where the Highland and Domain issues fit into the story I'm not sure, but from what i can garner from the net, I'll hazard a guess at: Domain - Local issue (New York area) 1961 Domino - National issue 1961 Highland issue 1962 Malynn demo 1970

you could say i altered it for the sellers benefit, no? ps Peter Pedantic, it's Joe with an 'e',
-
There's nothing wrong with it now, because I altered it for the seller.
