  1. and if James Trouble was to name himself after a muppet, surely it would be the Great Gonzo?
  2. Legit 70s issue by all appearances. So Says My Heart was re-issued on the same label design as the LP above.
  3. If the sound system in the venue is set up right Vinyl Carvers are fine - they are slightly lower volume than normal 45s, and just need a bit extra. Same with LP tracks. It's when someone who hasn't got a clue has set the sound up that problems begin.
  4. Redundant when there's Betty Lavettes version in your playbox.
  5. Not a recod find but... Was visiting my Dad in Boscombe, and decided to take a bit of his old stereo equipment into a 'Swapshop' to upgrade it. Usual Junk, loads of old radios, disco lights etc, but unfortunately no records. Decided to have a quick scan of a box of books, two stacks in the box, went through the first stack and found bugger all, was about to leave when I lifted the top book off the next stack (an old Haynes Manual) and the second one down the pile was Simon Soussans Motown and Northern Soul price guide. Cost me a fiver, but was happy to pay it as it was probably only a year old at the time.
  6. Crackin' spoonwork there fella.
  7. To improve on this, You should have cheap Sales and bring loads of chips. P. Doggy Esq. Chairman of the Tight Fatknacker Soc.
  8. As no one ever mentioned that the 'youngsters' or 'kids' are probably 5 to 10 years older than most of the people at a nighter were when they started going to the Torch/Wigan Stafford etc? It's all a bit patronising.
  9. Don't think so. Nice price. I paid $12 for mine plus shipping - mind I did get 19 other singles in with it at that price.
  10. not including the detroit double
  11. Check the feedback link i posted above. bear in mind he sells on Gemm as well... He's a proper tosspot. Massively overgrades, and that's if you ever receive the item.

without looking at it, about half of what it should be full price - maybe £75?
  13. sold the Terry Roland for £20 a couple of years ago - not sure what's happened to the price since.
  14. It's Alan Radwill (aka BADwill) selling it - wouldn't touch any of his auctions with a barge pole: https://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=rnad...irn=Received+by

No, I'm not nuts, but unfortunately a lot of people on eBay are. Sometimes it takes me until the Saturday following payment before I can get to the post office, as I work during the daytime and can't always get out to the Post Office when I'd like too - it's called having a hectic lifestyle... everything is sent recorded... so usually it's received within the week. I'm not selling records as a business so I don't have the luxury of a mail run. The additional week is a buffer for the mentally challenged few who expect the record to drop on their doormat the very next day...
  16. Also came out on UK President.

The balance has gone too far over to the buyer on eBay now... Hardly list anything on there as it's so expensive. Then you have to deal with muppets who think you are in the blocks, parcel in hand, awaiting their payment so you can post the item to them as soon as it lands... I'm going to put "Please allow 14 days for delivery, as unlike some of the social retards on eBay, I do actually have a life, that means that I cannot teleport myself to a Post Office to get your item out quite as quickly as you would like"
  18. Trouble is Mike, every time you close a thread, the personal with the negative post "wins". Or you end up with ten closed threads all promoting the same night - a nightmare to slog through to find the info you want. Perhaps a two strikes and your out? Warn the person twice then ban them off site for a week - or if possible - just off the events part of the forum? Anyway, that was all a bit too sensible. Back to the nonsense...... Garrr!
  19. It was a big hit both locally and nationally. They will have just come from different pressing plants.
  20. All of the copies i've seen are demos.
  21. Try Craig Moerer, I got my copy off him for $12
  22. Kenny Rogers innit?

Don't think the sign is worth the paper it's written on... Never heard of a sign directing you to ask if you can take flyers, only to ask if you can leave them?
