  1. Sold one in March for £300 - mint vinyl, couple of DJ 'x' on label, otherwise clean. Could have sold it about 5 times over.
  2. Wasn't just me who thought he came across as bit of a c-o-c-k then?
  3. " I like a man to be able to knock my hip out of joint..." Bleauch!
  4. Little Milton - don't pay more than a tenner for a US copy...
  5. Old Mod club record. Got a Canadian copy kicking around somewhere - think Apex is the label.
  6. I've listened to it, and the one word sums it up.
  7. Last one I held in my hand for sale was £50 at the Ritz allnighter in Manchester circa 1992ish. Wish i'd had the cash to buy it then...
  8. Fairly common on demo... Anglo American soul packs had them in in the early 90s, at one point I had half a dozen copies.
  9. I have a spare on the r/w/b label... just got to find it out first... could take a while so if you get offered another, go for it.
  10. or Lulu's version.
  11. Hardly rocket science putting together a collection of classic oldies though is it... bit like sticking a pin in a list. Couple of CDs that are good for non-northern fans are Up All Night vol1 and vol2.
  12. Prefer Chuck Jacksons version myself.
  13. It could do with a decent vocal.
  14. The official reissue is on Columbia CSP. UK is CBS?
  15. banny price - I'd have said £250 - £275 on a good day. Movin away - bugger sold one a couple of years ago for £50.
  16. i would imagine every James Brown LP, without exception has been re-issued on vinyl.
  17. the mans obviously a f*cktard.
  18. Inky Dinky Wank Dang Do. The clues in the title.
  19. yep, yep, and yep. Big record bar upstairs on the main hall balcony, probably one of the biggest in the country, plus you get the R&B dealers like Hoss, Ted and Myself downstairs.
  20. I'd have said that the other boot done by the same folks at the time was probably Bobbie Smith "Walk On In To My Heart" on American Arts
  21. Definately booted as a demo in the late 80s /early 90s - would fool many. I bought an issue about 15 years ago and it cost me £30 then, so in real terms its gone down in value.
  22. Have only ever come across the term 'a' list once, and that was a DJ asking me to book them, and giving me the price they wanted paying for doing me this fantastic service... My response was - thanks, but no thanks.
  23. Are you still after a copy of Shocking Blue? I've got my old DJing copy here - not played it for about 5 years, so i'd be happy to do something with it.
  24. Yep, but I could always do with a spare "cracked" copy... Sell this one to Paul B.
