  1. Last copy I sold was £35, a couple of years ago.
  2. Just another example of people scratching around trying to find 'something different but familar' the lazy way, instead of pushing quality underplayed records (cheap or otherwise).
  3. Some cracking stuff there if you own a jukebox.
  4. Bully, Your cd doesn't work in any of my CD players - is it an audio disc - or should I stick it in the pc?
  5. All of mine went in the post today... so hopefully they should land on UK doormats before Christmas... and foreign climes before the New Year.
  6. Sorry Baz, Not going anywhere until Middleton now... plus I've got to find the beggar.
  7. Definately had a 12" that jumped.... i bought it off Rod when he was in Afflecks in Manchester, and he took it back the following week no problem. My 7" plays through fine.

  9. cost me a pair of deadstock Big E levis in 1992.... They are probably worth £300 now
  10. The UK demo sound quality is bob on... it was released at the same time as the U.S. Mums copy, and comes from the master tapes.
  11. got a black and white "Weak Spot" demo kicking around somewhere.
  12. and most of them have their Summer Teeth in....
  13. I'm pretty sure it's Wanda on lead vocals... but she is the only real Marvellette on the album
  14. How could Bouncy Knowles ever pass as Etta James? I shudder to think how bad this film could be.
  15. "Please do not touch my records as a kick in the bollox often offends"
  16. At a guess it's the writer and producers label - Mickey Durio.
  17. Was this for download sales in perpetuity? Ouch!
  18. Russell Brown is the best DJ I've seen for getting stuck in behind the decks....
  19. Now sold - subject to Paypal payment.
  20. My method: Buy a new copy, and stick the old one on your record box. Sorted. Now who needs marital advice?
  21. I know its bad form to comment on sales prices, but on what planet would a copy of "Sweet Soul Music" weigh in at £15? Is it gold plated? Does it come with a Thai prossy hand job? Jeezum Crow, Sir.
  22. In the UK during the 60s anything below 100 copies weren't subject to royalties payments, as they were classed as Promotional. Blue Horizons early releases were limited to 99 copies for this very reason...
  23. Funniest thing I've read on here for ages.
  24. I've scanned the worst bits of the mockingbird sleeve, to see if its up to the job for you...
  25. Good ole Mr Manship books it at £30, and he's normally about right on the less obvious R&B stuff
