  1. Which markets do you sell the most copies of any given artist in? Is there any artist who is extremely popular in a particular part of the World? Angelo Starr big Down Under?
  2. If you're not bothered about originals, I've got a mint 70s Pittsburgh boot of this available.... different artist on the flip though...
  3. Not my cuppa cha.
  4. Not bad really - although the drums spoil it for me - too far forward in the mix for the tune IMO.
  5. It shows, by far the best production on this thread. Reminds me a little of "Going Out Of My Head" - was that intentional?
  6. Ian, This is a genuine question, and not a veiled dig. Who are you aiming your productions at? What age demographic? etc.
  7. what evidence has been given for them being sent in the first place? Has he supplied shipping confirmation slips/numbers? How detailed is the information? Hypothetical situation - A long time poster sells 20 records on Soul Source - but only send out say 5 - three of which are to the correct address - the other two to the wrong addresses. 15 people don't get their records - two get the wrong ones (the cheapest items sold). He gives the 15 people the shipping numbers for the ones sent to incorrect addresses.. making them think its a genuine error - by the time that people have realised their not getting their 45s, the Paypal claim period is up, so there is no way they are getting their cash back via that route. People post up on Soul Source about him being shady, a couple respond that "I got mine OK" or "Finally arrived but it took a while", a couple more posts come up "I got the wrong record, so I sent it back for him to send me the right one" or similar Meanwhile, he can respond to any posts on Soul Source by saying I have proof of shipping / they went to the wrong address / oops silly me.... The gist of this post being - everyone who is missing 45s from this seller need to get their heads together and share any info he has given - ie shipping numbers - to make sure that he isn't using the same info to palm people off in the hope that they will think its a shipping problem, and not the fact that he's probably screwed them over.
  8. Nope, it's on the other Just Sunshine LP
  9. I don't understand the problem here - he sent the record to the wrong recipient, he should be the one chasing it up and giving you the cash back if he can't sort it out...
  10. No, it's at least twice as common...
  11. Never seen one, or even seen one listed.
  12. Sold my spare to Karl Heard a while back - try contacting him as he seems to turn his playbox over at an alarming rate....
  13. Unless it was Dudley Moores comedy partner, i haven't got a pot-o'-glue. Pete isn't a common name amongst African Americans, the most famous is probably Pete Brown (PGA Golfer) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete_Brown_(golfer)
  14. Only Petes i can think of are R&B "Pete Cooke" or Latin "Pete Rodriguez / "Pete Terrace"
  15. Thanks, Exactly as it appeared to me, with the 'B' not looking 'quite right'.
  16. Only one reason. EGO.
  17. PVA. Dries clear and you can rub any excess off the vinyl once it's dried..
  18. Itcould just be the angle on the pic but the 'B' in Bell sound appears to be different - any chance of a clearer close up?
  19. Got an EX copy for £20.
  20. Apart from the time that they printed a biog on Margie Hendrix, stating that she had never released a solo 45...
  21. yep, that's the one...
  22. If you want something non-specific why not go for the "Deep Soul" label? - it's intricate, quite colourful, and would translate well as a tattoo.
  23. British label collectors - a breed apart. Why else would you pay hundreds for a UK demo of a U.S. chart 45?
  24. Not UK only - came out on Canadian Epic.
