Andreas, this is a missunderstanding, it was not Naughty Boy played it was this one, unreleased jackie day track, discussed on here several times before: - Ginger's plugging a top dancer very much in the same vein as "Naughty Boy" and alleged to have been recorded during the same session. My mate reckons it could even be the same backing track but I don't think so. Think its called "Get To Steppin" - Ady Croasdell in another thread - It was Get To Steppin, an unissued track with virtually the same intro to Naughty Boy and defo a cross between that and before it's too late; - In another thread about Midleton - Ginger (that unreleased Jackie Day is brill!),- So to set things straight, it was not Naughty Boy played, it was the unreleased GET TO STEPPIN on a carver wih phelectron sticker on beeing played, sounding similar to naughty boy (wich was not played at all during the night) best christian punky

Soulastatic Soul Club turned 10 yrs in 2008 (1998-2008) Located in Gothenburg, Sweden I´ve been VERY lucky to get some of the FINEST and absolutely best rare soul DJs to come over from UK (and other contries) to play fantastic sets for the floor over the years. Some has even returned again and again, so we must be doing something right. Thanx! I got the idea a while ago to put together a comp CD with a selection of UK and out of sweden DJs that have been spinning wax at Soulastatic, to select one track that they played at the club. All tracks have been choosen by the DJs themselves. The CD will be a limited hand out for free at next Soulastatic, and will not be sold in any way, (one or 2 tracks will be half the track as never been on cd before, to keep it away from vinyl carvers Just wanna thank the DJs for coming back to me so quick with fave tracks, and for beeing part of the club over the years. See you all soon again! Also wanna thank the DJs thats not on the comp, but have played the club, sorry but I had to narrow it down a bit. (As for the Swedish DJs that have played the club over the years, I´m working on the Static 10 years Swedish DJs CD right now!! So why do I put the tracklist/dj list here? I said sounding black and not garageish, meaning teardrops on Max beeing a Soul band/group, The Teardrops on 004 beeing a garage band. Digging a bit I´m close to convinced it´s not the same group. The Teardrops on 004 are from Colorado, and according to a garage site made only 2 singles: THE TEARDROPS 'Sweet, Sweet Sadie / You Go Your Way '(004 100) 1966 'Who Are You / Armful Of Teddy Bear '(004 101) 1966 With sweet sweet sadie they appear on numerous garagepunk/fuzz compilations, the band beeing described as very raw and fuzzy. So who are the group the Teardrops on MAX?

na, don´t think they are same group, one is THE Teardrops, other just Teardrops. The Pic sleeve teardrops a clear garage/rock outfit, while the teardrops on Max sounding more black and not garageish (GREAT tune btw!) But what do I know! Punky
