Woo loving all the photos they're fabulous. My photos are Birds Foot Trefoil; Lesser Yellow Trefoil; Yellow Rattle plant getting ready for the pods to disperse seeds; Whitlow Grass I think although am open to being corrected, tiny white flowers with four petals smaller than stitchwort;

The nymphs of dragon flies and damsel flies are pretty ferocious also they'll attack anything

Only a few photos of my favourite woods, Herb Robert, the flower of the month here as they're all over the place, them and Meadow Cranesbill (one of the wild geraniums native to the UK)

Cool. The blue Spring Gentian grows in the Burren in Ireland, here in Teesdale and no where else in the UK or Ireland. They've grown here in Teesdale since the last ice age. Suz x

We get Gatekeeper butterflies yes I'll take a pic next time Suz x

We get the top and the bottom butterflies here where I live in Teesdale Here's a couple of wild plants, first one taken yesterday just in the next field it is Yellow Rattle Plant, they're a parasitic plant which feeds on grasses, they help the diversity of meadows, in other words with these plants around you can bet a field will be packed with different wildflowers. These plants have grown here as long as I can remember. The next one is Red Nettle just growing near our garden wall Suz x

Went for another walk up Romaldkirk, Teesdale on Saturday took a few photos Loads of Cranesbill around also a pic of a Red Admiral butterfly, there was lots of bees and butterflies

I went for a walk on Saturday up Romaldkirk, Upper Teesdale and took a few photos of wildflowers. They are not rare ones particularly, they are as follows Germander Speedwell, Cowslips, Dog Violet, Primrose, Forget Me Nots, Water Avens and Bugle flower

Steve Teesdale where I live is the only place in England where the Arctic whorl snail lives, it lives in the Highlands of Scotland also. The upper parts are sub Arctic. Suz x

Went down my favourite woods today for a walk, the yellows and white wildflowers are being replaced by the blues, purples and pinks . A pretty shy violet and the first bluebells coming through Still carpets of white stitchwort about though, oh and a lovely patch of cowslips and blue forget me nots by the beck Suz x

I've never seen a tawny owl chick in daylight like that, ive nearly once been attacked by a long eared owl which had chicks nearby. She swooped down on me n me sister, beautiful Suz x

We get dunnocks here, they're like big sparrows they come n feed on the mealworms I sprinkle on the ground n compete with the blackbirds and our chickens for them Suz x
