  1. Peter Guaralnic's (can't be arsed checking the spelling),"Dream Boogie" about Sam Cooke, well written and researched haven't finished it yet but, worth a punt
  2. I think it's terrible folk selling on a free single, I've got all of 'em and spares and wouldn't be tempted to part with any of them
  3. Me too, also got Little Charles "Got My Own Thing Going"(also on Drum, pop pickers) for £3.00 with it, no help for Gasher tho'
  4. Also worthy of note is the B-side "I Hate To Be The One To Say" written by Shrine stalwarts Carl Kidd and Keni Lewis.
  5. I'm pretty sure Keb had it at then, don't remember him playing it though, got one off Pete Lawson for £15 87/88?? Hope that is of some use Gary.
  6. I'd forgotten all about that
  7. It has always included myself
  8. Off the top of my head.... Gerald Sims & The Breeze "Here Comes Heartaches" The Intentions "Here I Am" Bobby 'Guitar' Curtis- can't remember the title! These 3 he hasn't played for a while, I've never heard of him un-covering them or head them played by anyone else. Mighty Lovers "Get Away" The above mentioned Belita Woods was originally a Butch exclusive. J.J. Jackson "Too Much Lovin'" Masqueraders "Rainy Day", and when Chalky wakes up I'm sure he could think of more.
  9. Yes, definately an old Keb fave, tho I think it may have been Dave Withers who first 'broke' it. Great record anyway
  10. Cover-up titles or real identity?,in which case I couldn't say
  11. I think you'll find it is more than a couple
  12. Was quite rare, though still largely unknown there were quite a few copies kockiing around about 10 years ago, I had 2 copies which I paid no more than 25-30 for, seems to have disappeared these days, like most things! if that is clear enough? Incidentally are there any other known releases on a red/orange Path?, most I've had/have are blue
  13. Fantabulous 45, "Lancaster Johnson" for Butch for how many years??
  14. Would be interested too, as I got out-bid at the last moment on the "hamtrack" copy?
  15. It's not that fab 45 by Donn Larson is it?
  16. Also came out on Century City, from where I played it out a few years back.
  17. John Manship sold one for 2500+ not too long ago
  18. Me too! and the thief Levine still has my mates memorabilia, sue me if you want or return what you stole from Steve Bradley strange world my arse
  19. Think it's over-rated myself, but, that's just me
  20. It's an old Mod fave, it came out on British Sue in 1964, (credited as Derak Martin!), the 'Orrible Who covered it as well
  21. At least you got some positives from the death row slippers & dressing gown (soul-source passim)
