  1. So is Joseph Moore the Joe Moore on CB " I Know You Like A Book"?
  2. Satisfied With You Ex Condition Original only please! Thanks
  3. "Don't Look Down" is okay, but the flip is ruined by some awful guitar overdub, would sound good without it.
  4. Yes quite, and why bother putting the awful Billy Storm on at all!
  5. Your not alone there, Voices is a big fave of mine, ever since I heard Dean Anderson play it years ago, I play it out myself and never noticed it having the same backing as Phonetics!
  6. "Earl" was Earl Nelson not Jackson.
  7. I had a tape of Richard playing "I Don't Like To Lose" saying it'd be coming out on Grapevine for Xmas "..and thats not a rumour"!
  8. Dave McCadden may have something to do with it, Richard played along with it for sure....
  9. The Orchids - Kool Kat was a definite "true" rumour, along with it's upcoming release on Grapevine!!
  10. I think they are Detroit recordings, I don't have the records anymore but, don't remember anything concrete suggesting they were west coast pressings? with regard to the "DOC" records I don't believe there was any real Philly connection just a red herring to throw Motowns west coast office off the scent.
  11. Little Charles & Sidewinders "It's A Heartache" on Decca has a "Watch out..." line in it???
  12. Yes but, surely anyone can pick up a copy much cheaper, in one piece!!
  13. Surely Tony Galla isn't worth more than a couple of hundred?
  14. Your version is definitely much, much clearer and has a slightly different vocal track. My demo like all the above is muffled, I doubt it's down to the stamper being dirty as a new stamper would've been made for the MCA re-release and this has exactly the same distortion.
  15. Thats great news Mark, and if it's who I think it is, we won't be fobbed off with inferior product!
  16. Unless there is a west coast variant? Great record
  17. DEE DEE GARTRELL — OVER AND OVER AGAIN - JW McGee That should be Ernestine Eady - Phila of Soul - Let's Talk It Over
