  2. No, but I saw a Tramp stop and drink, down at the park the other day
  3. Pizza Pie Man was an old 100 groover, as was Jimmy Gilford on Thelma, Victor Knight Chinatown was an old c/u of mine played there prob the only one with a mandolin solo!
  4. That'd be The Changing Scene Jo Vee Jo, both sides c/u as Steve Mancha there is one on JM's at the moment

  6. There also exists a UK Atlantic white label test pressing with handwritten credits, that my mate Brad has.
  7. Yes thanks Rod, and for the record I think this is the best sounding version, the Mala one being styrene is somewhat "brighter" in the top end, but lacks middle, the RPR one is vinyl (from memory, been a while)but may have been poorly mastered as I remember it being a bit muddy generally, not sure about the weather tomorrow though.
  8. Chin up mate
  9. Sold my Tina Roberts for a shade over 2k earlier this year, still a very hard record
  10. Strangely enough the version included on "Northern Soul Connoisseurs" has this fault, I thought this was only on the cd, shows the level of care Phillips gave to their remastering in the 70's!

  16. Didn't you get that off me?
  17. I'm sure Phil will be embarrassed about this, one of the nicest and funniest guys I've met, chin up mate and get better soon. As Chuddy said emergency services were second to none, even with myself and Jimmy keeping an eye on them!
  18. The Intentions on Uptight are from Harrisburgh PA, if I remember correctly.
  19. Got to agree with all of the above, a really nice fella, looking through Ian's play box was enough to take your breath away and that was the stuff he didn't play! It was a big shame Ian coudn't make the Kent do, was looking forward to that more than anything. Keep well Ian Tony LP
  20. Indeed you will mate
  21. Wasn't that Colin Law?
  22. Adam Faith sings "I Don't Like to Lose"
  23. Did you moonstomp to it?
  24. Oops I slipped up there, well spotted Tony, but, it's not a ska record, that much is true.
  25. No, but if Geno Washington had got it, it could've been the follow up to "Michael" and a hit, and the all the Rik Gunnel artists... cue Tony Coleby....still no ska
