  1. Don't know Dave, some of those outfits were a bit romantic
  2. Stafford was great,I loved every moment, as influential as the mecca was maybe but let's not get all dewy-eyed and Wigan about it, we don't want to spoil it do we, please!

  7. Actually there were 2, Cook & Jones plus they had "Helen of Troy" with them, also down the 100 I had Charlie Harper of the UK Subs cornered at the bar, Buzzcocks have been and back in the 80's, Wham + entourage turned up squirting water pistols, blowing whistles + George M challenging Keb to a dance off, shortly before he was kicked out, good days

  11. Tiares - Let's Be Lovers c/w I'll Never Forget You - Leona £109 Can't believe that, nice looking label but, dreadful record
  12. Yes, but they are the same group, different take.
  13. Heh heh, soryy but, I hate bad spelling
  14. The Mercury acetate is the one that Butch plays, this is same take that was taped from a band member and was the one that Rob played, the Benn-X version while being a good reading is not in the same class imo. Is anyone saying they are the Breakthrough group? the Benn-x group being a Philly group;Frank Bendinelli/Leroy Lovett vehicle unlikely Joey Jefferson on the west coast would cover it also with the same group name, but, you never know?
  15. Can't spell either...maybe you could trade those death row slippers for this exclusive!
  16. C/U as Little Carl Carlton "Hey Little Girl" for about 10 years, definitely on vinyl came from Soul Bowl, full story is on Kent CD, he was a protg of Charles Spurling.
  17. As Bob said all are Lee Silver produced, same group as Pentagons-Sutter/Corduroys-Hale and also Primers on Hale too, also Minnis Jones on Sugar has same backing as 21st Century
  18. Got mine from John for £25, it was well over 8 years ago before anyone asks
