  1. I'm afraid not Chalks, I sold the pair of them at Cleethorpes a couple of years back, but the ztsp matrix numbers are consecutive.
  2. He must've been there a very short time as the both records were pressed at the same time (if the matrix details are anything to go by!)
  3. Thanks for the vote, unfortunately I'm away pitching a tent that weekend!
  4. That'd that well known fella that went to jail for getting caught with his hands in the till. Every dealer in the country had a wants list from him, most sold to him too, rhymed with Glad-dick yes?
  5. It iis the same recording.
  6. It uses the same backing as "I'm Getting Weaker" Soul Shakers on Loma.
  7. Agreed, in fact I prefer it!!
  8. High prices on the lower end stuff!
  9. Anyone see what the others ended at? Bill Dennis at $7,866.00.
  10. Wasn't this copy on Ebay a couple of years back (I remember all the ticks on the label! Last one went for $10,230.
  11. I reported a dealer selling obvious bootlegs to ebay twice over the last month, other than an acknowledgement email no action as the people are still trading. On Ebay.
  12. I remember that well, I sold my copy to Geordie Martin thinking he'd turned a load up!
  13. Hi Al, Chosen Mass was Ion and Sean Mccluskey, Soultown was Ion & myself, things were a bit more fluid and ah hoc then so my recollection of dates/venue etc. gets bit mixed up The Strand venue was The Dance Centre International, I bankrolled the bar that night! Yes I remember RH issues think I bagged 5 of 'em in total good days.
  14. Myself & Ion also did a couple at Sol's Arms, just to add to the confusion!
  15. No that would've been the Penny Black that Ion and myself ran under the Soultown banner in 85 or/ 86, we used to hire Ady's gear and pick it up from his old flat in Langham St., which also involved carting the gear up 5 floors of very narrow staircase!
  16. I see the Soultown membership card, I can remember creating them, pre-mac days, photographing the label, making the plates......smokes mystical cigarette and drifts off to the past.....
  17. Isn't the Dee Dee label west coast eg. Natural Resources "Nothing Lasts Forever" or the Dee Dee subsidiary of Boss? I think I answered my question, or did I?....
  18. I'll have to try to find whats left of my Beat Route membership card (Tuesday nights) but it is also July '82! Alex Gerry & James Hamilton, who was the most unfriendly DJ I'd come across at that point!
  19. I really regret not hanging on to those flyers, but over the years they've gone. Mark do you remember the one I had on my wall with the tagline "Soul as deep as you like" and a Beverly Ann "You've Got Your Mind.." scan on it!? T
  20. Yes guys I've been lurking reading this post at work, Gene your memory is astounding! When did the Carved Red Lion start? (you did the flyer!) I remember Spike well,he went from wearing paisley shirts to army greens in the blink of an eye! I went once to Notre Dame then, I have memories of skinheads bowling ashtrays across the floor and also fights on the tube going there. The White Lion had porno films playing upstairs is all I can remember about that place, we kind of hung outside.
  21. Matt Parsons Orch. Boogaloo Investigator was one of Guy Hennigans inventions for sure.
  22. J.Terry/F Bryant isn't it or shouldn't it be?
  23. Are they different to the Empire release?
