  1. Someone just paid £51.97
  2. The Embracers is Okay, nowhere as good as Otis Leavill on the same label, too Doo-wop for the Northern scene imo, Pat Brady had it on his list a few years back at 200, I got one from the US for peanuts along with Doc Oliver!
  3. Bob, there are probably more copies of I Surrender on this side of the pond!, it used to be cheap on ABC, a pal of mine had at least 5x25 count boxes back in the late 70's.
  4. here Jock, my oldest friend from Scochland, get ye self heer!
  5. Butch has played Ordinary Girl on and of for years Great tune!
  6. Very sad, RIP Etta.
  7. Whats a good price on this?
  8. Rob Marriott played it before Saus
  9. All my MGMs are vinyl, with 2 exceptions, Wakefield Sun "Trypt On Love" & Irma Routen "Sacrifice" which are both from 1970, read into that what you will.
  10. Same here Steve, though I picked mine off Tim at Parr Hall?
  11. It is! and when it does it always commands a decent price, the cheapest I ever saw one it was £200, and that was when the first release was going for around 8-15 that was nearly 20 years ago.
  12. "I Gotta Be Free" at least 2 of these sold last year, never been easy to find though, as you say much, much rarer than AGC 0001.
  13. I've 2 demos on this, first came off of Nogger, the other from the US, not a great deal of demand on it though, traded it to JM around 15 years ago.
  14. You beat me to it Steve! Happy New Year chaps, by the way!
  15. Along with George I'd never heard of the Tiny release until a relation of the band was on here asking for a sound file or copy a few years back, I'd had the Rouser copy since the mid to late 80's when Koppell found a bunch.
  16. Yes, it's the fist label.
  17. Did it mention Blue Rock on the label or was a RCA custom job? Andy, where are ye?
  18. Didn't Andy Rix have a copy of this?
  19. Another curious one Rich/Robb, and possibly my fave Xmas record too, which I introduced to the 100 club back some years, I'm sure it'll get a spin tomorrow. Again no clue to Horace' identity, Choker Campbell being the "name" here, maybe a member of his band who could sing and play sleigh bells? Merry Xmas
  20. I knew he lived over here for a while, and he was a regular at the 100 club (not the allnighter I hasten to add!), I've a photo of my wife sitting on his knee, taken when she worked there quite a charmer she said. Never heard about Lillian though.
  21. Really, where did that come from?
