I was under the impression that Wayne Hemmingway of Red or Dead fame was in charge of the Northern Soul section but I could be wrong
He must be an expert, having he’s got 3 mmms

To be fair i had never seen or heard of that symbol before but you wonder why no one asked what it was.
Reich on!
You are only 12 though, us older people with grandads that went on about those Nazis and going about our long hair and sexy pop music will have remembered

it looks different to the rest of the impact 45s.. probably a vanity release and the last on the label before it shut up shop in september 1967
Pressed at Shelly (raised X) along with Rod Riguez as opposed to using the familiar Columbia ZTSC the others had

Do some of these 45’s really warrant being put up for auction in the first instance?
Seeing as its quite the norm for other sites to advertise sales for 45's in conditions varying from G+, the mint condition factor is the premium here I think.....shouldn't be though

I counted 20 originals of George Lemons showing up on popsike. By comparison there are 13 copies of Patty Stokes showing on Popsike.
Be that as it may, Patti Stokes WAS around in quantity you used to see it in every sales box and everyone I knew had a copy...

Saus has the only copy that I know of (in this country), one in the states I think that I was aware of. Not to say there are not others mind. It's the same as the Arter Set if memory serves but the two don't compare tbh. It's far too fast for us old timers too.
Saus has my old copy which I played as the Eldees at Blackburn, that copy came from Pete Lawson, Salmon RIP also had a copy not long after that, no idea where that ended up, same writing team as Big Dons Rebellion

The Impacts version is the one I played c/u as the Four Bars back in the 90’s

Or unrealistic Discogs sellers, particularly that demo.
I sold a mint issue to Pat Brady for £100 several years ago, thought that was good, and can’t say I heard it played out anywhere in the last ten years apart from a Xmas party and that was someone playing the Kent 45!

I'm not saying your right or wrong as I don't know the answer to your post but to give some balance but on visiting Gino Washington's house in 85 I got a "Rat Race" (different vocal to "Like my Baby") on Mala. Hand written 45 and only 5 ever made (he has since re-issued it on his Washpan label) Dave Thorley first played at Stafford, I got the second copy, a band member had one. Don't have mine anymore but I know Butch has a copy.
Your right it doesn't make sense to only have 5 or 50 pressed up, I was always told 300-500 would give you a break price.
Morning mate,
A test press is exactly that, you would only pay for a specified amount be it 5 or 50, the plant would prob press more as part of the set-up. It's a completely different animal to demo copies which would be made as part of the pressing run.
