  1. Most of the records posted here are nowhere near 100 mph, are these age-adjusted?
  2. Take into account Dave McCadden was a top wind-up merchant, among other things! ;-)
  3. Hopefully Secret Stash will be putting the Kontets/Kinetts inst out soon!
  4. Re: The Nola release the figures in brackets are the dead wax markings, will check later
  5. Carol & Gerri 400+ Custers 125 Earl Van Dyke 25 Herbs 25 Jaibi 75 Marvelous Ray 150 (should be more, still a fantastic 45!)
  6. Has anyone done a list of Canadian Karen/Carla/Moira etc. product? Over to you Richard....
  7. In a word no, at least not late 90's, it was sold to Rob still c/u, I certainly never uncovered it, although there was another copy knocking about in London that had come out of Randy Cozens collection can't remember where that went.
  8. Hello Mr Whitmore! That tape is either 1991 or '92, The Anita Anderson on there, is one of 3 copies that I found in Chicago, the Leo Costa was from Tim Ashibende which Rob pipped me to, and I took Rob round to Ion's place when he purchased the Sandy Golden,. great memories!
  9. If that's the case how come so of the recent notorious fakes have been spotted exactly by the fact that the papers and inks looked wrong, and the fakers have taken to trying to age the label by other means? Maybe these mint Eddie Parkers need a closer look??
  10. I had a tape with Richard playing Wilbur Walton Jnr on it, he played as "Time for a couple of requests..." next track up was George Kirby.
  11. The likelihood of that of practically nil in the UK, The Danny Moore's that were found in the US were all the unsold stock. Blank vinyl?, what do you mean by that exactly, records aren't cut on to blanks, like carvers are.
  12. I'd disagree with that totally, the entire printing industry has changed significantly since I was apprenticed in the litho trade, the chemicals and inks used 50 years ago would get any printer shut down immediately!
  13. I think 105 for sure doesn't exist, and looking at master numbers for Wheelsville 10001 and 10002 they have consecutive numbers with D-Town 1043 Silky Hargraves "Hurt By Love" which sounds like it was recorded at he same session as Freddie Butler, My suggestion is these 2 where the start of a new numbering system, which was discontinued and the label reverted to the old numbering and columbia pressing along with D-Town 1063 & 1064.
  14. I've only ever seen this on the red label along with Cody Black 107 "I Am Particular", the pink label was a later release coupling "How Can I Forget You" with "Me And My Baby" 114.
  15. Closing bids on these tonight, I thank yew!
  16. Find me a US demo for £20 please Phil! I paid £40 for one about 25 years ago and it's got graffiti from LeBaron and Jack Taylor all over it thanks to uncle Mick Smith!
