  1. My "College Boy" is on the orange label also suggesting 2 runs on that.
  2. Never seen it either Steve.
  3. I thought "I'll Bet You" was Myto music written with Sidney Barnes?
  4. My Ivories is identical to the one John auctioned except it's mint with no label damage, came from our friend in Todmorden for either 50 or 75 (can't remember exactly) about 20 years ago, I hadn't seen it before on that design but didn't think it was that rare.
  5. I think Guy Hennigan played this twice at Blackburn.
  6. Demos are vinyl, and issues styrene in all the copies I’ve had/seen.
  7. Blimey that's a name I'd almost forgot Gordon King (later with Earl Brutus) I DJ'd a regular Sunday Evening session at the Motown Bar in Ladbrooke Grove, he and he glamour-puss girlfriend Jane made the mistake of sharing a chalet with us at one of the early Cleethorpes weekenders
  8. Sounds good to me!
  9. If you can find one!
  10. Got my orange Clifford off our friend from Melton for £30 over 20 years ago, that was cheap then!
  11. The orange one yes, consecutive number to Ed Hamilton, label owner re-pressed both on the green label years later.
  12. "You Got To Help Me" also repressed on the green label
  13. Same as Clifford Binns
  14. Been a century since I compared them, sure the Jameco 45 sounds "quiet" compared to the Carrie release
  15. First heard it played by Keb (once!) at Stafford, was rubbing my ears in dis-belief! was c/u as Ray Pollard!! Ion also had it at the time, got rid pretty quick.
  16. I've got the top 3, Best mix for me is the Mary Jane, but the version of Call Me on the flip is better on the Carrie one
  17. They are different mixes too mate!
  18. Received my replacement Sharpees 45 for the mispress that plays "Valdons" this morning
  19. 150-200 has always been around promising to go big but, never seems to make it, nice record.
  20. Didn't see the other Pete.
  21. And already at $2,225.00 with 15 hours to go!! Are these people mad.
  22. Ah my review of Mansfield, as my brief role as "Groovin's" roving reporter (there wasn't a 2nd issue!) Dave had a habit of editing your copy, putting his own jokes in etc. that Pete got the right hump about!! :-)
  23. River City, Steve, it also came out on a end of year college label too!
  24. Nah that's 45mph!
