  1. Certainly wasn't bootlegged in the 70's, if the boot is missing something probably because they didnt have real copy to copy from,my copy came from the only known hit on this record back in the mid 90's, 6-10 copies all unplayed from a San Francisco record shop

  13. That may have been the copy that Shifty got.
  14. Indeed, that was my point the mastering number is also the date it was done.
  15. With regarding dating Despenza releases, I always thought the number "12266" was the biggest clue, December 2nd 1966, a fair few labels /pressing plants where there isnt a defined label number use the mastering date as a reference, also I think its hard to date by label layout or typeface alone, as individual plants had stock layouts they might use for many years.
  16. Did anyone see the finishing prices?
  17. Gawd, how lame is that?
  18. Yes I was sure they were a one off group on the label, the Other group are unrelated
  19. I got the Pentagons off Koppel back in the 80’s and had it c/u as Soul Shakers , think had Anglo had a few copies, remember being made aware of the Corduroys copy by Dave Flynn some years later
  20. Thanks Graham, might feature it over the next couple of shows
  21. Ahoy Soul Fiends it’s rare Soulcial for your pre Xmas listening pleasure enjoy at your leisure
