  1. Great track. Previously unreleased, CD only I believe: Originally released on : The Master 1961-1984 Disc 1 #16 Then compiled by Richard Searling on Motown Connoisseurs, Vol. 2 2003 He played it regularly on CFOS during the early naughties. Best Mick
  2. No Nashville Matrix stamp on the record. That's the info I needed, thanks guys. Mick
  3. Any help with this query would be greatfully recieved. I have this copy of Sandra Philips, "World without sunshine", b/w oki on a white viynl Broadway 45-403 DJ. I suspect that i'ts a 1970's boot (see scan) however the only reference I can find to a boot suggests that it was done on a double sided "world without" white lable boot (i.e. same both sides). The scratched matrix is 66BY258, no stamp. Help appreciated. Thanks Mick
  4. Another boot: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LOVE-WONDERFUL-PAULA-PARFITT-BEACON-/180806834121?pt=UK_Records&hash=item2a18ed57c9

  7. Same goes for the horrid MGM LP of hers, also produced by Don Costa. Nice pick on the cover though. M
  8. Hi Steve Re Order of Images Unfortunately you cant order the images in a public group. However if you want to look for something specific by artist you can search the archive. As you probably noticed I have tried to include some Youtube links and where possible Popsike links. And you could cross reference new images by including a link in the description. I would be greatfull for any one joining. Thanks Mick For Bootleg/re issue images please go to: https://www.flickr.com/groups/1856437@N25/
  9. Further scans added, please click here. This is a Public Photo group open to contributions from anyone. Thanks Mick
  10. Nearly had a go at this one myself last week until i saw the re-mastered bit and there were others described the same last week, though I can't recall which. It's appaling how folks fake their descriptions as much as the records they sell. Bought two recently described as VG that were so battered they are virtualy unplayable. It's great though that this forum exists to expose these dudes. Thanks for sharing. Mick
  11. In case anyone is interested I have started a public group on the Flickr photo web site for sharing label scans of bootlegs and reissue, hopefully this might help folk with their buying in future. Please click here to access it. It's both free and easy to join Flickr and I would welcome anyone else's contributions to this resource. A public group means that anyone can post there, but please, only scans of bootlegs and re-issues. Thanks Mick
  12. Lovely tune - personaly I'd rather have it than "too much", good tune though it is. Thanks for sharing your thoughts guys. Mick
  13. This is another tune that used to be a £20 quid record, where the last few copies seemed to have tipped for £150 plus. Does anyone know if it's because its been played out? https://www.popsike.com/Ronnie-McCainnorthern-soul-45-on-TriodeThis-Timehear/390308535814.html Thanks Mick
  14. Another overpriced boot I wish I hadn't given away! M

One of those covered by many artists, I know of versions by: Booker T (co writer), The Mad Lads, Ollie and the Nightingales,William DeVougn,Esther Philips,Al Green, Joseph Henry & The Mighty Imperials, Sunny & the Sunliners, Clem Curtis (the Foundations), The Friends of Distinction, Marvin Holmes & the Uptites and Tyrone Davis, I guess that there must be many more. Ollie & The Nightingales - I've Never Found A Girl I've Never Found A Girl - The Mad Lads https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSEYIN5SjPM A couple of the more unusual versions: The The Friends of Distinction is a great version: Clem Curtis (the Foundations):
