  4. This is the important bit: " I PUT MY CLAIM IN EXPECTING TO BE COMPENSATED MY CLAIM WAS TURNED DOWN BECAUSE I HAD NOT PUT THE PACKAGE IN CUSHIONING MATERIAL-EG (A JIFFY BAG) AND WRITTEN RECORDS DO NOT BEND I TOOK IT TO 2 FURTHER LEVELS AND TURNED DOWN BY BOTH. I THEN TOOK IT TO THE SMALL CLAIMS COURT THAT COST ME £105 AGAIN IT WAS REJECTED GIVING THE SAME REASONS"

  13. The Tempests-Someday-Stardust - continues to be in great demand! Click Here: Not sure that this qualifies as a Comedy Sale (personally, I don't find it funny). What's wrong with buying the LP for half the price? Best Mick
  14. I hope that this means that the appropriate royalties have been paid etc. Regards Mick
  15. Boots have been about since about 1970. The earliest ones that I recall were the Soul Sounds series, followed by Out Of The Past (OOTP). I seem to recall that the guy responsible for the former was locked up for his part in the scam. Though it now seems naive, half the time in the early 1970's I didn't know that I was buying boots. Truth to tell though I have been shocked by the sheer scale of booting on ebay, I am surprised that record companies don't go after them when they're so quick to lock the illegal down loaders up. Arguments have raged for decades over the affect of legit UK issues, there were many articles in Blues & Soul and Echoes in the 70's & 80's relating to this. Personally I have no problem with them as long as the writers and artists estates get their dues, time has proven that it rarely affects the value of originals. Kent, Soul City and Hayley must have done some good on that score. It is time though that the contemporary scammers were hammered. Interesting post. Thanks Mick P.S what is the status of Outta Sight records - is this a legitimate re-issue company, does anyone know?
  16. I wondered if anyone else has experienced difficulties with inputting.editing E-bay sales items. Having just tried to edit an entry, E- Bay is insisting I choose an additional payment method to Paypal for the buying conditions. Like many I have no interest in receiving monies other than by Paypal. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or maybe I've missed something? Thanks Mick
  17. Thanks for the info Rob. Is it available on CD anyone? Thanks Mick
  18. Besides being a lovely crossover tune, its saught after on both the Volt and Paradox issues. Click here, for Posike values. There's also reference to the record in One for auction if you must sell, be honest about the condition though. Regards Mick.
