  2. That Gambrells is fabulous - both sides. Also love the Pat Thompson & Archie Powell. Cheers Richard
  3. It says this ... Gwen Owens - Just Say You're Wanted (And Needed) / Still True To You (Velgo) Condition: G, sound clip and pic of label attached. OFFERS Please PM if interested (serious inquires only). Thanks for looking.
  4. What about these then that I found on an internet trawl? Look like a light blue demo (or a dark scan of a white one) and a white demo. Richard
  5. It's a great record - both sides Richard
  6. Correct - there's what looks like a boot on eBay at the moment listed for £100 Richard
  7. Believe it or not Jim I just texted exactly the same thing to a friend about 10 minutes ago, so you're not wrong mate. He he. Richard
  8. Thanks Ricky - a good read Yes, that shows the #1020 Atlantic distributed release. Anybody actually got the record or have a scan of it please? Cheers Richard
  9. Has anybody got a copy and/or could post up a scan of the Falcons - Has It happened To You Yet on Lu-Pine on the Atlantic distributed series please? This top class recording came out on the local series on release number L-124 on both the white demo and the familiar off-white issue with green print. Many of these local Lu-Pine releases were also distributed nationally by Atlantic on a separate series with a 4-digit release number. The Falcons is supposed to exist on #1020 and I have also seen listings fora release #1024. Any information gratefully received Cheers Richard
  10. Try it now Tony - I have re-sized it Cheers Richard
  11. Anybody please? Surely someone has some info on this one Cheers Richard
  12. We have the show recorded courtesy of Aid (MrsWoodsrules). Thanks Aid you are a star. Will post it up when ready folks. Cheers Richard
  13. No problems here ... I usually use real player instead of the station player ... or you can get it online via the TuneIn website too Richard
  14. Hopefully should be OK as I think Aid has it covered. If anyone else is able to record it though it please just drop me a PM. Cheers Richard
  15. Hi everyone Just a head-up that Gilly and Nicola are guesting on Dean's TNT Soul Show tonight It goes out live tonight at 7pm until 9pm. Should be a fantastic show. Tulip Radio is online here: https://www.tulip-radio.co.uk/ Aid (MrsWoodsrules) has kindly agreed to try and record the show again (thanks Aid!). I will also try but I have a few technical problems this end, so I might struggle - so if anyone else wants to have a go at recording, so we have a back up, that would be great. Looking forward to a great show. Cheers Richard
  16. Thanks for clarifying Bob. Richard
  17. Thanks Bob Does that mean we now get more for our money - i.e. tracking is now included - or that there is also now a cheaper tracking option so that eBay sellers will be able to significantly reduce their shipping charges because the only 'tracking' options they currently have are much more expensive than this option? Cheers Richard
  18. Anybody know if the attached record is a repro or a different format of an original please? I came across it when sorting stuff out and wasn't sure. I also have a definite original on the yellow and green Chex logo with the "Checkerboard" design which is Sheldon stamped in the deadwax. This one is a light blue coloured label with the earlier "Block Lettering" design and only has scratched in matrix numbers and the words Chex in the deadwax. There is no stamp of any kind. One difference is that the label on the attached picture says Nationally Distributed by Jay-Gee Record Co., Inc. which the yellow and green copy does not. So maybe it was a different copy/colour for the national deal? I have seen a scan of a similar blue copy with the Jay-Gee distribution and DJ Copy Not for Sale printed on the label, which I guess was original. One reason I'm not sure is (and it was ages ago) I think it may have come from that Las Vegas seller who deals a lot of repros and had those Johnny Watsons on Valise. Anyone help please? Cheers Richard Click on the picture to see a massive image!
  19. Hi everyone I wanted a couple of hundred of these Mylar sleeves from Bags Unlimited for holding records in company or picture bags that I don't want to sleeve in the normal way: https://www.bagsunlimited.com/c-157-mylar-polyester-sleeves.aspx However, they quoted me around USD $60 to ship them - plus they will declare actual postage - so I would have to pay import duty and VAT on top of that. Anyone know of another source please that is similar quality? I'm definitely looking for Mylar sleeves - not other options. Cheers Richard
  20. Surely this must be the best roller skating record? Cheers Richard
  21. You would be better off in wants mate
  22. Always liked that one Peter I should have sold you mine - I pulled it out of Rob Smith's shop in about '79 or '80 I think Can't remember what the other side is like though - any good? Cheers Richard
