Are Del-Val demos rare? Especially thinking of the earlier series releases with the blue and silver issues (e.g. Casinos). Cheers Richard

Even it is is R&B, which I would tend to disagree with (although it has some R&B characteristics), that would not stop it being called Northern. Northern Soul encompasses a shed-load of different genres and styles - in fact there was a thread on here about it recently. Have to say I am baffled by the "Soul POT" thing. I know the Eastern label says "Soul Pot" at the bottom. But could this be a typo maybe? The other version also says "Soul Pot" at the bottom, but if you look at Popsike, several copies shown have a black blob where the "S" should be on "Spot". More importantly, the massive writing at the top of the label surely says "SoulSpot" (even if "Soul" "S" "Pot"). Very weird. Why is this "Soul" "Pot" and not "Soul Spot"? Cheers Richard

Hi everyone Interested in views about the desirability, collectability, rarity and price of the different formats of Jock Mitchell's "Not A Chance In A Million" on Impact. I have had a white demo for years, but also chased after a red stock copy for quite a while as I thought this was the much rarer and more desirable format, and therefore more collectable, valuable etc. Now I want to let one go - but I'm in a dilemma about which Manship's guide vales the white demo at £50 more than the issue. Seems to be the opposite of what I though - on value at least. Grateful for any thoughts on this conundrum please Cheers Richard

Spot on Len A proper business has all sorts of costs to take into account - is probably VAT registered (20% straight on top there), needs a profit margin on any transaction, might employ people, have premises etc. etc. Richard

I guess so Mike - because the other night you might recall I tried a plain post and it let me add three tags. Could be correlation rather than cause-and-effect, but the only time I have had a problem with tags is when I am posting sales, and I always have attachments then. Cheers Richard
