I have a few bootlegs - better say counterfeits - in my collection that were bought when I was a lad and when everything was all new and unknown to me. I always bought from the big name dealers at the time, because of their knowledge and reputations. Nevertheless, this didn't stop me being sold counterfeits like the Royal 5 on Tyler as originals, and being sold things like second presses of stuff like the Ambers - Potion Of Love (Smash) as original first issues. I didn't really know my arse from my elbow and took things on trust. Well, you live and learn. I'm pretty sure it was only one of the big name dealers I used to buy off that did this to me, but I honestly can't remember enough detail to be sure or point the finger.
