  1. Hi Marc It's on #331 I'm Gonna Be With You showing an E. Lafayette address. Also on #712 My Troubles with just "Detroit Michigan" on a blue label However, no address on the attached scan of #332 Pitter Patter Anyone got a soundfile of this one please? Cheers Richard
  2. We had this early on in the list, but it seems to have disappeared . Definately the Detroit address on some blue and yellow label releases on this label. Cheers Richard
  3. What were the years for this one anyone please? Is it too early? Richard
  4. Any good? Richard
  5. CYE If my memory is right this one is gospel 'soul' - maybe in maybe out? Richard
  6. Cha-Joc Crap scan Richard
  7. Blade - 70s Is this 45 any good? Cheers Richard
  8. Auston's is Royal Oak - in? Richard
  9. Not sure if it's Martin records or Martin Music Richard
  10. Gemni on Wombat (a strong contender for the worst record I have ever heard described as 'northern soul') from Dearborn. Gemini for the El Count Executives from Detroit - linked with Tru-Soul and from 1971 apparently. Cheers Richard
  11. Yes, I would say so (these Jerry-O/Boo-Ga-Loo ones are all kinda debatable Detroit/Chicago anyway aren't they). This Sherwood scan has a cool stamp showing the Jerry-O address as Detroit Cheers Richard
  12. Is Genebro Is Arc Lark (actually with a hyphen Arc-Lark on most releases) Cheers Richard
  13. ?? Both? Check-mate no? Richard
  14. Should read Sound Impression (no 's' on the end) or Sound Impression Records (getting picky now I Know ) Cheers Richard
  15. Just to say you are doing a top quality job on these lists Chalky - excellent effort. Thanks for all your hard work Cheers Richard
  16. Here is a scan of Steptone on Adell from 1974. Cheers Richard
  17. Chalky - if you check above I previously posted scans of two pink label Twirl 45s with the Detroit address on. So probably both NY and Detroit (so def counts as a Detroit label ). Cheers Richard
  18. Hi Marc - hope all is well with you I don't actually know this one. Just went by the artist saying it was Detroit. Any good? I do have a scan though Cheers Richard
  19. A scan of Herbie Williams on El Toro Richard
  20. I posted up a separate thread on this one a couple of weeks ago here /Dee-and...s-T-t85036.html It's a reworking of Dee & Joe's Who Is It Gonna Be. Presumably the same 'Dee' and it uses the same backing track too = Detroit (and 1960s?) However, it is backed with a version of Al Green's Let's Stay Together - so actually a 70s release? Chalky - your call as to whether it's in or out. Cheers Richard
  21. Storm dunno Here's a scan - can't tell you much more ... ... except it's a Vicki Music job and has the same address as the pink Detroit Twirl 45s I posted up earlier. Cheers Richard
  22. Chalky These are the ones I've yet to check and verify Richard, I've got to go out this morning so won't get too much time. Ranger is Clio, Michigan and from 1957 according too R&B Indies, could be little too early for what we doing??? Hi Chalky Not sure of the date on this one. EJ & Echoes are obviously better known on Diamond Jim. Here's a scan (not my 45). Anyone date this please? Cheers Richard
  23. Here's the disc Cheers Richard
  24. Here's a scan with the Detroit address Cheers Richard
  25. Scan showing 1969 date for Edd Henry. OK to include please? Cheers Richard
