  1. I have seen several sellers with this 45 on eBay over the last few months - both white promos and also a couple of red issues. All gone for a good price though. Cheers Richard
  2. The blue writing is on the releases with the half chequered label (like Baby Don't You Weep). Richard
  3. Original and nice with clean labels. Many are water-stained. Richard
  4. Great song- Superb to listen to. Hard to dance to IMO
  5. Can we Refosoul the lot???? I could do the Dynamics and Profonix - unless anyone beats me to it (I'm not that vinyl to MP3 friendly ) Cheers Richard
  6. Big bump!!! - anyone help out please? Cheers Richard
  7. C'mon guys - pleeeeease Richard
  8. Anyone post that soundfile up please? Cheers Richard
  9. Hi Joe - that is so coooooooooool Just thinking about all of those unreleased tracks Maybe Mr C can work that out Cheers Richard
  10. That's the one I was thinking of Matt I have the 45 too - light blue label. Spotted that the Profonix version credits the writers as Holland-Dozier-Holland. However, the Orignals credits S.Moy-N.Whitfield-C.Grant, as does the Dynamics version on Cotillion. Cheers Richard
  11. Sorry, I didn't mean the Tempts - who else apart from them, the Originals and the Dynamics did it? Cheers Richard
  12. I also have Mah's 1038 on a white promo. Dont' have one on Mah's 1037 though. Can anyone post up a scan of a 1037 promo, either the Fun To Be Young or It's Better To Love release please? Cheers Richard
  13. It's a fantastic record. Also done by the Dynamics on Cotillion of course. That version is equally excellent, albeit faster and more urgent. Who else recorded this one? Anyone scan up the labels please - both the black one and a better copy of the gold issue if possible? Label address details etc. would be appreciated too please? I only have the rubbish scan of the gold one below. Cheers Richard
  14. This one with It's Better To Love is also available on the multicoloured logo like the other one I posted up previously, as well as on the red label like your copy above. The group's other release on Mah's 1038 is also on both red and multicoloured Cheers Richard
  15. Hi Mark It's surely an interesting variant and I guess the first issue, before the Ric-Tic distributed version with "It's Better To Love" on instead. Therefore, pretty collectable in my opinion. Not as easy to pick up as some might think I suspect. Clearly, not in the same rarity category as their Solid Hit release, their 45 with Debora Healey on Wheelsville, and probably the Debra Healy & The Magictones on Chrysler. Much harder I'm sure than the more bog standard Mah's releases on the group though. One 45 it seemed to take me ages to get in good condition was their release on Shur-Hit Maybe similar rarity to that one? Here's a scan of my copy of Fun To Be Young on Mah's. Hope yours arrives safe and sound! Cheers Richard
  16. I love a mint styrene 45 One thing I don't like about vinyl is that many 45s are affected by very slight dishing and edge waves I have even had a couple of vinyl 45s warp in the box Cheers Richard
  17. Baz - have loved that Attractions from the first time I heard it back in the early 80s. Someone's gotta have it - PROPER Northern Soul Cheers Richard
  18. I agree totally Mike - well said There are some on here who seem intent on provocation and stirring it. That needs to be actively discouraged. Those who rise to the provocation and then go too far are equally to blame. We are all grown ups, and on a public forum people should basically behave themselves Those that cross the line, and we all basically know where that line is, should expect something to be done about it Most people are on here for enjoyment - so if you can't put up a positive and constructive post and want to get personal and offensive instead, next time please just keep it to yourself KTF all Richard
  19. Here are scans of: Stix And Stoned - Rouge Plant Blues - Looks like Bumpshop 136 rather than 131? Sunshine - Dream Selection Bumpshop 145 (or 1102?) Albert Jones - Up To The Sun on Bumpshop 153B with automobile design (is this an alternate flip to the 153 version shown?) Final Decisions - Keep On Walking on Bumpshop 162 red issue with automobile design Final Decision - Keep On Walking on Bumpshop 162 promo? Cheers Richard
  20. Can I ask WHY? Good thread - but is there a wider purpose? Salvadors for me as noted above - forget the 30 sec rule Richard
  21. I have bought a few items from Thorsten Z. No problems at all. Last deal, a few days ago, as I remember had very decent communications. Richard
  22. John - thank you - that is perfect Richard
  23. Thanks for the advice guys You are definately right about not locking the boxes indoors. I stopped doing it after that episode Cheers Richard
  24. Manship lists the black issue at £20 and the yellow promo at £100. You can get a M- issue for a tenner. However, the promo is much harder and will go for 75, 80 or even 100 quid. 50 quid is a good price IMO. One of the best Detroit Northern Soul dancers ever Cheers Richard
  25. If you are going to post replies like that, why bother setting up your own thread to talk about your own music in the first place? Think I will set up a new thread all about ME, ME, ME and how fookin brilliant I am Richard
