  1. How can he possibly be on shaky ground??? He's referring to the legitimate 1960s Soul City release that came out at the same time (or very shortly after) the Backbeat U.S. release i.e a contemporary (for the time) original UK issue. Please explain.... Rich
  2. Ok, fair enough, but clearly he should be suspended from selling if we're not getting protected. Let's hope he's within the 45 days!! Rich
  3. You have 45 days from when you made the payment to file the Paypal complaint. I think they're strict about this too. If you're out of time, why don't you email the dickhead and tell him you can do this the easy way or the hard way i.e if he won't play ball then you will PM all bidders on his records and tell them about this state of affairs and send them a link to this thread. That should make him sit up and take notice a bit more... Rich

  13. Bloody Norah!!!!! If anyone wants my mint copy for the ridiculous sum of £800 then get in touch Mace, whatever happened to Dave Ingle??? I remember giving him a lift to a soul weekender many moons ago and picking him up in Loughborough. I also remember he paid a wedge for silky Hargraves on Dearborn from Adey Pierce and I'm talking circa '89 - happy days those old R&S bashes He used to do northern nights in Leicester for a while with Paul Rudzitis et al, but i've not seen him or heard of him for a while? Rich
  14. It is an amazing album Do I recall that some pressings were mono and some stereo??? I'll dig mine out tonight and have a look. I've also got a couple of their other Kapp albums which throw up a few decent tracks too and similar backing tracks to other northern records - will dig out... Similar wonderfully brightly coloured front covers too Rich
  15. I'm going to the play with Sam, so we'll pop in afterwards. Just be careful Brett hasn't brought his australian dog whip that he hides under the stairs... Rich
  16. There's only one king of spin - Alistair Campbell
  17. Jimmy Saville a female singer - never! - Yorkshire's finest jewellery encrusted marathon man doing Donna Summer - I think not
  18. Thirded - wish the plane would sodding crash again and take out the singer - truly mundane, pedestrian, unimaginative twoddle. As is the Magnetics, as (Princess) Karen's already mentioned I suggest Dean Barlow and all the other R&R clip clop rubbish - especially Barbara Redd - I'll Be All Alone - wish she'd leave us well and truly alone at soul nights!!! Rich
  19. Who the feck is he???!!!!! I suppose it's a bit better than being called Pat Nevin which was once levelled against me on a train coming back from the footy And Jamie's right - Mr Rimmer is deffo Willie Rushton Trevski is a dead ringer for ming The Merciless!!! Rich
  20. That's right Steve, must have been a raving madman
  21. Don't pull your punches Christian I do like the cut of your dismissive gib!!! There is a certain beauty in the way that some non UK english speaking people phrase things - sometimes it is brutal and may be lost in translation, but it bloody tickles me!!!
  22. Good point - i'll write to him in welsh/french - that'll confuse him Just sent him 12 emails with varying degrees of profanities in each. Feel a lot better now... Rich
  23. Yeah, the choirboys bit is priceless What a tool he is!!! I wish we knew where he really was, tossers like him deserve a bloody good kicking. Some people actually bid on that record and the less astute could part with hard earned cash. I think we should ALL start emailing him en masse so his account gets blocked up - w*nker!! Send 10 emails each and he'll have to trawl through them thinking some are genuinely interested in the "record" Rich
