  1. We pulled out an old video today, to show the Belfast lads me and Dean in the 80's..... The video was CESC 6th anniversary and who was in pride of place on the dance floor.....Pete Wickham.
  2. Calvin Grayson - You've got to be willing
  3. --> QUOTE(mark.b @ Nov 12 2006, 02:43 PM) link never mind the postman your bank account must have been working overtime. mark Pete never pays more than £8 for a record, just ask Claire.....
  4. I keep threatening to make the cloakroom at Rugby into a creche.......may be a good move....
  5. You could never be described as selfish Del...... a little time out is good for everyone.. We WILL get you out soon babes.....
  6. I know I'm only a woman but The new wanderers - did - this man in love The wanderers - did - You can't run away from me sorry (wanna be chinstroker)..
  7. The Royal Free is a brilliant hospital, they did wonders with me and turned my life around.... I travelled down there from t-midlands for treatment rather than risk the local hospital... He is definately in the best place. Only met Pete once but then that's another story eh John....
  8. As Kylee was leaving Stoke the other week, she asked "what do you have to do to get a spot here" "Change your sex" was the answer........
  9. Brilliant record.... Matt Smart plays this one at Rugby..
  10. Didn't you introduce me to your daughter at your 50th..... Everytime I read anything out from here, Dean asks if we ever talk about northern..... He also refers to everyone on here as my virtual friends....
  11. Love early doors, the warm up stuff is always interesting, plus you get the seat you want.... And love to stay "to the bitter end" But the minute the music stops, "I'm gone"....
  12. I saw you lerking earlier Garv and laughed....I wondered how much you were suffering this week... I do fine at the weekends but from Monday onwards, it's, oh me knees, back, head (mentally and physically). Then by Wednesday I'm looking to see where I can escape to this weekend..... Keep meaning to have a break but so much to do and so little time.... I did wonder a few years back when I got really ill, if it was anything to do with my way of life... But have now decided that it's the only thing that kept me sane.....
  13. If you wanna check out some sounds try this site..... https://the.soulclub.org/
  14. Me finks Ken posted it confusingly so that intelligent people like me would mistakenly vote it as good...... Sorry Ken, can I retract my vote, the record is pants but what would I know.... might sound better out and loud...
  15. Oh poo, I thought the poll was re: Stafford...... Must need more sleeps
  16. Probably told this one before but it's a nice story. Went to the Stafford re-union at Stoke. Saw John Pugh stood in the doorway most of the evening with a bit of paper and a pen writting notes. Nosey cow I am, I had to ask what he was doing. Making a note of what's played, so I can do something different for my set. As sooooo much was played two/three or four times that night, John's set was a real breath of fresh air..... well done that man....
  17. Ken, how can you question if Stafford was any good, that's like questioning if there is a God..... Less likely to be a god, than Stafford being no good.... And if it had been crap I might not be here now..... No comments needed from Kirsty, Baz, Cariad, Ganche etc....
  18. That was something I noticed this weekend at Belfast. I think it may have had something to do with the fact that everyone was there from start to finish but I can only remember one record played twice over the whole weekend.... The Dj's all complimented each other, made for an interesting and musically enjoyable time...

not sure what the quality's like but there you go.... off to do me packing for Belfast....yippeeee
  20. Bought my first record when I was 15ish, bought the last one yesterday.... Never sold any, cause I only buy what I love, so no reason to sell afterwards. Have lost some over the years....broken, stolen, borrowed.... Wouldn't class myself as a record collector because that's the other halfs job but I am passionate about the few I have got. Anyway, who says that size matters... Come on Ken, we are waiting for the two good reasons....
