I thought I'd posted on this thread, as there was a similar one a while back but as I'm bored and staying in on a Saturday night, I've been doing some catching up.
I totally agree that if you book a DJ, you pay them, you wouldn't ask a workman to come and do work in your house, then not pay them...
Tough it you don't cover you money but if you do do it for the money, maybe you're in the wrong game...
I also agree a fee in advance for Main Room DJ's, it just seems to be the right thing to do...
The Freestyle Room, however, is a different kettle of fish but one that is well explained beforehand...
It's is a place where anyone who wants a spot, will be given one. Everyone is welcome.
You do have to ask if you wanna play in there and Sean and Joan you would both be two DJ's I would more than love to ask me but I know where you are coming from...
It is my little baby and as such have been blown away by the success and the calibre of DJ's who want to play their wears.
The is no fee paid but a free pass for the DJ and a guest...
And lastly, is there really a venue that attracts 1,000 punters, oh I wish...
